Fits perfectly to an F150 with a topper. Lots of space. The main exoframe makes it possible to put up with one person. Lots of space inside. The only surprise is there is a rain fly over the tent but no awning over the door.

Very exited to use it during my camp. I was looking big tent, quality is great! Recomended!

Not just for SUVs, this tent works great with our little travel trailer (InTech Flyer Pursue)! Very easy to set up, even solo. Roomy and tall inside with great ventilation. Build quality and materials seem good; haven't tested in the rain yet, but seems like it will hold up well. Love the versatility - stand alone, on an SUV, or a travel trailer. Also seals pretty well on our travel trailer with only a few small openings (heads up if you plan to use this in an area with a lot of mosquitoes). Overall, very happy with this tent!

We love the tent! It has more room inside than our last one. I also love how the elastic band goes all the way around the canopy and truck to seal it. The tent setup is easy. We have one issue with one of the legs not locking. Waiting for a response from King Camp. I will update the review, once hear back.

Just got the tent today 5/23/25. Immediately set it up. Took me about 15-20 min total...getting the tent up 3 min just like they said. But I'm pretty OCD and want to make sure everything is snug and set. It fits wonderfully on my 08 Outback. I can already tell it's going to be very nice room wise inside the tent. Room for a chair and table when it's rainy. My first set of business is going to be buying some spray to waterproof it completely.

Seems well made and not cheap. I bought this tent specifically for the easy up factor. Most other tents you have to put in poles. I need easy especially if I were to roll in at night time. Take down took a bit and I do wish the tent bag was slightly bigger to accommodate for the the fluff of tent take down than you cant really get back once its out of the bag for the first time.

I'll update my review once I've actually camped with it. I'm sure I will be pleased.

This is a great tent overall. As an experienced camper, I found this tailgate tent to be quite easy to set up by myself. However, with two people, the process would even faster. The quality is impressive, and the price is very reasonable for what I get.

Some of the key features that I love:

Very good and easy to put up and put down. I was not able to put it fully back in the bag but i was in a hurry. I like the vent pockets and different hidden hooks etc and pockets for things all around it.

Can’t wait for this summer in New England to put this tent to use!! It sets up and breaks down so quick and easy!

Bought this direct and it is amazing.

Just received the tent. It looked complicated but was easy. I’m 70 and I put it up myself. I’m having a little trouble figuring out the top. They should tell you that you need to do that before you put the tent up. It’s very high to get your rain fly on.

I used this car camping tent last weekend and loved it! Super easy to set up, fits perfectly, and gave me extra space and comfort. Great ventilation and protection from the weather.

This tent is MASSIVE and actually easy to set up. We tested it over a recent snow storm inside for the kids. I’ve never had a tent with the poles attached and I’ve been afraid to try the inflatable ones because I worry they would pop or break and be useless. This is easy to set up and you can actually stand in it. I have not tried it attached to the trunk yet but it would be easy. Excellent family tent , thick material - very happy with how many options it has I will definitely be keeping this item. The box is big but it all packs into one back go transportation - just feels bigger broken down because poles are attached that is worth it to me. So fast to set up.

I love how easy this tent sets up and goes down. I have used it on 2 trips now and the last trip was very rainy and windy. The tent did pretty good. There was some leaks around the windows but it was not terrible and was manageable considering this was a huge storm that just dumped on us. I’m happy with this purchase and would get it again.

I’ve set up a lot of tents over the years, but this one might be the easiest I’ve ever used. When I first took it out of the bag, I half expected to have to wrestle with a bunch of poles and fabric, but everything is already attached and ready to go.

It works a lot like those pop-up canopies where you just lift and lock. I set it on the ground, gave the top a pull to open it, locked the poles in place, and it was standing solid in under a minute. No threading poles through sleeves and no guessing which piece goes where, the whole frame and fabric are already in place from the start.

I have used this car camping all year long (7 trips now) and it's been quite pleased with how it held up. Very comfortable.

Love this thing. I own a 2025 Volvo XC90 and it is a perfect fit, and believe its design will make it compatible with many other makes and models, super easy to erect and breakdown, very roomy. I’ve used it with and without the rainfly, either way the interior space was comfortable.
The stowed dimensions are slightly larger than similar products but are not an inconvenience and fully compensated by how easy it is to set this tent up, I am very pleased with my purchase.
