I could have went for a regular folding chair, but those tend to have arm rests that I'm not fond of, and generally designed to sit deep in for 'comfort'. As a guitar player/singer, that actually is a negative trait.This folding stool is a better alternative in my case for that reason. No armrests that get in my way, and no need to sit at the edge of the chair.I wasn't particularly sure of how sturdy it was, but it could handle me standing on it without as much as a budge, so color me impressed. Layers in the padding make for some comfort that I can't expect in most foldable stools, as they tend to be just a single layer of vinyl/nylon, though for real comfort I probably would bring a pillow or something separately.Maybe a tad pricey though, at base cost.

I got this for my husband who seems to hate sitting when were out lol not really but hes picky for sure. This is great for him though because its easy to use, easy to store, easy to carry and its sturdy when using. Over all its a win for us.

This is a very sturdy camping stool that an average adult can sit on with no issues. Folds up for easy packing around if needed.I am actually using it in my day cab tractor in the center to be able to stretch out when I need to take a nap while waiting on my trailer to be done. It fits well in between the seats.Would be great for camping or an extra seat around the backyard if needed.It's held up well for me and I have used it quite a bit over the past couple of months.I recommend it.

This is the most comfortable folding stool. It's bigger and more height than most of this type. Any big size person can comfortably sit on this. The the pad has good cushion/thickness as well. When you open this and put a tray on it, it'll be a good table too. Folding/unfolding is very easy, it fits in the black nylon bag easily. It's light and portable. The legs are very sturdy (cross bars on all 4 faces, bigger footprint. This is a rare perfect outdoor folding stool you can find.

I ordered this camping stool for my son to use on boy scout camp trips. It seems very sturdy. We tested it out with weight up to 200 lbs. and had no issues. There is also a decent amount of surface area that a grown man can actually sit on it without feeling like he is falling off. It is very compact and pretty lightweight so my son will easily be able to carry it around with him. It takes no time at all to fold up and put in the storage bag.

Got this stool for the hunting blind. Will use it for everything!! Very comfortable and durable. Very portable.

Sometimes I go fishing in spots that I have to hike to. This stool is small and easy enough to carry along instead of sitting on the sand or trying to find a rock to sit on. The padding and little shock absorbers make it comfortable to sit on. The material feels thick and durable. To setup and put away is easy and doesn’t take much effort. I have a little piece of Velcro on the bag strap to wrap it around the chair leg when it’s open. It can get windy in some spots and I don’t wanna lose the bag. You could always tie it around the chair leg but I just had extra Velcro straps around and it’s easier for me to use.

This is a lightweight footrest or a small child chair as my daughter has claimed it as hers. It folds easy and has a nice bag for carrying it around. The material seems durable and like it will last for a while. The "rest" area is padded which is a great feature I wasnt really expecting. If you like being outside this is for you!

This foldable stool is fairly lightweight. It weighs around 4lbs so it's easy to carry around. It's plenty padded and pretty comfortable to sit on. I would like it to sit just a couple inches higher, but that's just personal preference. It folds and goes back into it's storage bag easily. If you're looking for a decent stool for your camping gear or to carry into the woods for a days hunt, this would definitely suit the bill.

This chair is great. The bag has a handle so you can carry it or wear it on your shoulder, making it very comfortable. It is very easy to unfold or fold the chair. Above all, the cushion feels really comfortable and comfortable when I sit down. It's sturdy so I can use it to place heavy loads or place my feet on it. This chair seems to be very good for the price. If you have been looking for this type of chair, I highly recommend it.

Such a versatile and well made foot rest. There’s enough cushion that it’s comfortable to sit on or it can be used as a side table. I like the storage bag with a carrying handle to use on trips to the beach or a picnic. Very easy to set up and just as easy to collapse.

This is a good stool. I like the extra material/cushion of the seat.I especially like that the carry bag is ample. There is no struggle to get the item back into it. Super as a seat by itself or as a foot rest around the campfire.

I coach a martial art outdoors in an area with very little seating. It's basically a giant sandbox. As a result, any breaks I've taken in the past have involved me plopping down in said sand and getting whatever I'm wearing (which is also sweaty) absolutely covered. I needed a light camping chair to take to practice and the tournaments and events I compete in and I'm very happy with this offering. It folds up nicely to make for ease of transportation but still offers plenty of space to ensure comfort. Not only that but the seat is actually padded, not just canvas, an added comfort I wasn't expecting. The construction is really nice and sturdy as well, I'm sure this thing will last through the hell I'm going to put it through.Take this on hikes and you'll be glad you did, it will make those moments enjoying the scenery all that much more enjoyable.

As a foot stool or makeshift chair, this works great. We used it around the bonfire and it's nice to put up my legs when sitting in my camping chair. As a chair itself, it holds all the way up to the 330lbs, as advertised, and I feel safe doing so.To call it a "side table" would be generous. I wouldn't put a drink on it, but as shown in the picture you could set a picnic basket or some other item that doesn't need to stay level as there's no support in the middle to prevent such (nor would I want there to be).

Was looking for something a little more portable and lighter, as it is this is a nice sturdy stool but it is more suitable for camp use and not really for carry along on a hike or something you can stick in your backpack, OK just not what I needed,

The stool comes with a carrying bag which is nice.I am 350 pounds and the stool did good without any marks of wear. I mention this because the limit per the description is 300 pounds.The stool is comfortable and sturdy.I will use it for months and will give you an update.

I was excited to find this stool/foot rest! It is a valuable addition to our lifestyle. Not only do we have a poolside patio that we can use it as a foot rest and "side table," but we also have a RV that we can use it for the same while glamping. Additionally, we do a lot of hikes, and this will provide a nice way to rest in the "middle of nowhere" as needed. I liked the suggestion for gardening, but when you sit on it, the middle sinks down in, so personally, it would be hard for me to then bend over and work in the landscape! However, I am extremely happy with this item. Not only is it attractive; it's well-designed. It is super sturdy, so you feel "safely planted." It doesn't feel like it will tip when you try to sit down or stand up. It folds up easily, and it's super lightweight and easy to carry either by hand or using the canvas bag over your shoulder. Plus, it's really comfortable!

What a great alternative to the typical canvas camping stool. The padded seat on this provides maximum comfort for a portable stool, and it can even double as a footrest that won't cause your heels to ache due to lack of padding.The seat is nice and cushy - perfect for camping, gardening, outdoor events, game day for the kids, picnics, and so much more. It comes with its own duffel sleeve that you can carry in the hand or over the shoulder. It's more lightweight than some we've tried too. Plus, the construction of the support rods provides more stability making it less likely to tip over. The material resists spills and moisture too.Overall we do recommend this product. It gets 4 stars only due to the difficulty in getting it back into the duffel sleeve. This can easily be resolved by the manufacturer by making the sleeve a little bit larger.

We own several nice folding lawn/camping chairs but they're all quite bulky, and I wanted something simple to bring—specifically as a sideline option for kids' sporting events.This is relatively compact and lightweight given that the frame seems extremely sturdy.A dear friend who is right at the upper end of the weight limit didn't believe me that they could sit on it safely, but it totally supported them.While I do appreciate that it is padded, as opposed to just a piece of vinyl, I will say that it's not as comfortable for long-term sitting as I expected. Part of it is the relatively thin padding, but part of the problem is that the fabric is just a bit too large for the frame, so it sags and tends to make me slouch when I sit in it.One thing I KNOW this is going to get used for in the winter is ice fishing! You lean forward most of the time when ice fishing anyway, so this will be perfect. And the padding should help keep your hind end a bit toastier!I also see us using this as a footstool, though I don't know how easy it is to clean so I'm not sure how well it will work to go back and forth between footstool and seat.Overall, it's a decent compact stool that's very sturdy for the size and multi-functional.

He said it was perfect height and very comfortable.It's got a fair bit of padding, more than most camp seats. A bit low for a seat but he tried that too and said it was still comfortable but there are hard plastic caps over each upright rod. Those can be uncomfortable for sitting.Folds right up, either way. Had no trouble getting it back in the bag.The bag is ok. Thin nylon type. Pinch clamp drawstring.The metal legs are powder coated, done very well.Wider feet help it not sink too bad in moist ground.No complaints as the footstool we (he) wants it for.

THis is a neat camp chair with soft cover. It's perfect for sitting around the campfire or a day fishing at the lake. It is easily stowed in a backpack or can ride with you in the trunk not taking up much space and not weighing much either.It opens and closes easily-no latches to fiddle with--and when open is quite secure and stable.The padded soft cloth top is ample for the largest butt and could also serve as a table or rest in a pinch.

Received this nice blue cushioned chair the other day. Comes in a nice, sturdy black nylon drawstring bag. :0)Easy to pull out of the bag, set up, use and replace in the bag.This chair or footstool is sturdy and wide. I’m 5’6” approx 163lbs and the chair is wide enough for me to sit down without it pinching at my sides. The fabric is durable and the seat is really nicely padded.The only reason that I’m docking 1 star is that the seat droops a tiny bit when I sit in it. If the seat fabric was just a little bit more taut, it would be more comfortable to sit up straight vs. the fabric seat drooping that tiny bit to make it less comfortable. Bummer! :0( I feel like I’m being forced to slouch a little when sitting on this chair due to the slight seat/fabric drooping.This is a very durable, well made chair, I just wish the seat was tighter/more taut so I could sit up straight and properly.Additionally, there’s a slight chemical scent due to the fabric or ??? I’m hoping that it will dissipate in a couple weeks.Price seems a little high, I think this chair would be better to catch on sale for $30 or less.

This folding stool is a perfect size, and comfortable for padded sitting, and as a footstool. Makes a nice fishing chair too. Built sturdy, easy clean fabric, and folds up nicely in a carrying case. Lightweight. Very good quality.

This folding stool is very strongly built. The canvas top is substantial, is padded, and is firmly attached to the legs. There is no indication that these attachments will rip out even after long use.When unfolded, it has cross bracing on all sides so there is no wobble when shifting your weight.I also like that the feet have a decent size flat area to keep the legs from sinking into soft ground.It folds up easily and comes with a storage/carry bag.I am 6'3" and 200+lbs. The stool handles my weight easily, but for an extended period, it is somewhat low to sit on for my liking since my knees stick up too high. If you are of normal height then it is probably just fine (my wife is very comfortable on it).However, as a footstool for me it is terrific. I prefer to sit in an upright chair around the campfire and this stool is just right for a foot rest, especially with the padded top that makes it feet comfy. It will also serve as a camp table to collect flashlights etc.The stool is a welcome addition to our camping gear and should survive many years of use.
