Nice light sleeping bag. You can open it up and use as a blanket or zip it all the way up for warmth. I really like that it is compact in the bag it comes with, and it was no problem re packing it after use.

The sleeping bag comes rolled up in a matching sack to carry the bag with ease, but it's not very lightweight so I recommend this bag for people who aren't going to hike into a camping spot. For tent, camper, or under-the-stars camping in warmer weather, this bag has a moisture-resistant outer shell and a cozy flannel interior. The top can cinch around the head for a mummy-style if needed to trap in warmth, and there's a zipper down the side and a separate one across the bottom so it can be opened up into big blanket, zipped on the side while your feet pop out of the bottom for a sleeping bag shuffle, or if it's too warm it's easy to let cool night air come in. OH! I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION: IT HAS AN INSIDE POCKET!!! (Shown in one of my photos--the pocket is sewn in on the inside lining and is large enough for a small flashlight or a cell phone, lip balm, a wad of toilet paper--some essentials you might want close at-hand.)

I tested the bag on a fairly cold night (down in the 20's) a few weeks ago and my black lab and I were both inside and plenty warm, though I did have to tighten the strings around the top to help block out the temps as they dipped low. There was a frost that turned to dew on the sleeping bag in the morning, but the moisture didn't seep through. I was impressed!

The outer shell brushes free from debris with ease and I like that because in the summer I spend a lot of time camped out on the sandy beaches at the river. The sand will slide right off the outside but it'll be a bit more difficult to shake from the inside, though I figure once the whole bag dries and gets a good beating and brushing, I'll leave most of the sand at the beach.

I was unable to roll the bag up tight enough after use to return it to the sack for carrying, though I don't know that I've ever been able to accomplish that feat in my entire life with any sleeping bag--at least without help. Overall, this is of good quality and it'll see many adventures: it easily earns 5 stars from me and my dog.

I'm 6'2" and have been using normal sleeping bags my whole life. This XL size is a game changer. No more getting all wrapped up and stuck in weird positions in the middle of the night. I can stretch all the way out and stay completely covered.
The liner is a nice flannel which is comfy enough. The compression bag is nice as well, but the sleeping bag itself isn't that compressible. This isn't a light weight sleeping bag, so we recommend it for general camping.

This is a nice flannel-lined sleeping bag. Very soft and comfortable. I like the flannel which is not as slick and noisy. The Zippers seem sturdy. I would consider this a medium weight sleeping bag. Has a nice cover with buckle closure. Would buy again.

I bought this sleeping bag specifically for outdoor use and chose it based on the listed comfort rating of 46°F. Since I didn’t plan to use it in colder temps, I figured it would be perfect.

It arrived today, and I tested it right away by sleeping in a tent in my backyard. It’s currently 57°F, and I’d say that’s pretty much the true comfort limit. I’m not cold, but I’m definitely not warm either. Honestly, a few degrees warmer would feel just right.

So while the bag is comfortable, well-made, and the zipper works great, I would not recommend it for temps near or below 50°F. In my opinion, the realistic comfort range is closer to 57–60°F, which isn’t all that warm.

This is definitely a cold weather bag, good for early spring, late fall and winter. The stuff sack it comes in compresses it quite nicely considering this is a large bag. I am a petite woman and it wouldn't be my first choice for backpacking, but for end of season nearby trips this would be a nice, cozy bag to snuggle up with.

This is a thick sleeping bag suitable for cold weather. The material is thick, slightly heavy, and puffy, so it's not the most compact or lightest sleeping bag. The material is smooth and comfortable, and the zippers work well.

Overall it's thicker than my other sleeping bags so I think this is suitable when you drive to the camping location and not really for hiking with it.

I like a lot of things about this sleeping bag. It's both long and wide, so nice and roomy. The zippers work well. There's one on the length, as well as one at your feet (in case you want to air them out). There's an extra portion for your head, which can also be pulled snug for those extra cool nights. AND, I didn't see it mentioned, but there's an inside pocket with Velcro flap near the top. It looks like it's for a cell phone, a nice touch.

I measured the length, width, and weight. My numbers matched their numbers, so that's good. But for hiking several days, this may not (or may) be the bag to take with you. Five pounds (plus all the others pounds) make a backpack feel heavier with each mile. That said, it is a LONG bag and very roomy. So, the extra couple pounds over another bag may be worth it. Just something to consider.

So far it feels pretty good. Zippers all function nicely, and as a bigger guy ( 6'2 275lb) I appreciate the extra space this bag provides.

I was a little surprised at how heavy it is, since it's essentially a 3-season season bag, only going down to 44f comfort. I have an old coleman mummy bag that I was thinking of replacing with this, but the coleman is much lighter and has a better temperature rating. I'll keep this one as a backup. Fortunately, most of my sleeping bag use doesn't concern weight.

It's a decent bag overall, if you're not concerned about weight, and not camping in freezing temps.
