I am a big dude!! I thought that i would flatten this just like all of the air mattresses that i have in the past. I love camping so I go as often as i can. The first night sleeping on this keep in mind i'm a side sleeper. I had no problems! Woke up and amazed. I didn't have to put air into it like you would a normal air mattress. One advice once you get your AIRELAX Sleeping Pad open it up and let the foam breath for about a day. Most of the time it takes only about 4 hours on your first set up but after that there's no problem. I would Love to try some of their other products in the future!!!!

If you’re looking to get a lightweight camping mattress, this is it. This mattress is ridiculously soft for an air mattress and the inflating/deflating mechanism makes it super easy and convenient for the user. You’re able to lay on your said comfortably. Foods and liquids run off the top, so clean up is pretty easy. Definitely a great option for those looking for a lightweight but HIGHLY comfortable option.

I am beyond impressed with Airelax, both the mattress and the company. I am a 74 year old woman. For much of my adult life I have been an outdoorsy type. A frequent camper, I thought I would have to give up tent camping, which I love, because I was just not able to be comfortable sleeping. After reading a lot of reviews, I bought the Airelax and it was a dream come true! I slept like a baby, woke up refreshed and pain free. It was fantastic! I did a lot of camping this year. On a camping trip last week, much to my great disappointment, my mattress started to lose air. I contacted Airelax about the matter, explained the situation and they immediately sent a new one. Their agent, Amy, was polite and professional and I could not ask for better customer service. So, bottom line, a great product and superb customer service. I am a "happy camper." I highly recommend Airelax.

I love it. So easy to inflate using the bag and folds up easy too. I’m 5’10 /165 I didn’t put anything under it and I couldn’t feel the ground.

Easy to inflate and love that you can easily add more air or deflate if necessary. I have back issues and this thing kept me quite comfortable! Would absolutely recommend.

Super comfy for two adults. I’m petite, my guy is 6’1” and he was very comfortable. It does take about 30 minutes to inflate. Deflating was a little confusing with the valves. Had to look up YouTube once I got back home. No internet at the camp. :)This would be good for guests for sleepovers, too.

Writing this review after having this for a few months.Because it's a memory foam base I HIGHLY recommend storing it open/flat. Allows it to recover much faster with no bumpy spots. I store mine vertically, behind our china cabinet with the vents in the neutral position.It does take some effort to repack into the storage bag as I'm sure you've read in the other comments. Not impossible if you're patient. I put the vents in the exhaust position & fold it in thirds from the top down to the vents. Then I roll it as tight as possible from the top down TWICE, squeezing the air out through the one way valves. Then, I fold it in half long ways & roll it up towards the vents. This process gets it back in the bag every time.Too bad they don't make a companion camping pillow! Somebody get on that!

I bought this bed several months ago. It had a leak in the valve I wrote a review and the company was very quick to respond and issued me a mattress. Love this product. Have gone on two major camping trips into the wilderness. Until now I have always had a "bad" back in the morning. This matress actually helped my back to feel great throughout the entire trip to Colorado BLM land and boondocking in upper Minnesota. It is a bit like wrestling an alligator when trying to get it folded back into the travel bag but.....WAY worth it. Buy this and go camping!

Far more comfortable than an air mattress. Equal quality to top brands. Inflates by itself in 20 minutes.Pro: I really appreciate the storage bag - you can actually easily put the mattress back in it - unlike other brands that assume you can compress the mattress as perfectly as the manufacturer. Never happening!Cons: This item is very bulky (although that's not a fair criticism). It's thicker than most. That said, it's very comfortable, great for glamping, and I'm very happy with the purchase!

Very comfortable but three of us, two of whom are experienced campers and each have a similar mat, couldn't roll it back up into the carrier.

I’ve used this a total of 5 weeks throughout the summer and fall and I can confidently say I love this mattress. Easy to use, very comfy, doesn’t need reinflating every day. Thin enough to not feel too bulky. But still very sturdy. Only down side is the size of the roll when not in use. But worth the storage space it takes up in my closet.

I’m really pleased with this evening I couldn’t roll it up small enough to fit back into the really nice bag it came with. If easy set up and great sleep is most important, then this is a great buy. It self-inflates quickly after the first use. Inflate a bit more by blowing into the intake valve. The only downside is that it’s hard to roll up.

Got these for my son to you in his tent. Baught two for him and his buddy and they said they were great.

The bed is v comfortable. Little bit hard to pack but overall much better than the inflatable that we used to have . The first bed we got was defective and after a few uses stopped working . Customer service has been great and helpful and exchange it .

I have never found an air mattress that is this good. For years I come home from camping and my back hurts. I just went camping with this mattress and have no back issues. It’s comfortable and It didn’t lose any air for the 4 days of camping. It’s amazing and totally worth the $.

As some note, you should do a practice run before your first trip. These inflate wonderfully. Working them back into their cover was a chore at first. I found rolling twice (rolling up and then unrolling and rolling up again) was the ticket.

I bought this for solo near-the-car camping trips after owning an Exped megamat awhile back. This pad is comparable in quality and I definitely recommend it! Easy to inflate and deflate by yourself and makes falling asleep easy even when your camp neighbors are blasting Lynyrd Skynyrd at 2am. It's not too heavy but best for camping in or near your vehicle with due to pack size.I'm looking forward to fall camping and using this often!

It’s comfortable than air mattress!

Very nice. Warm and comfortable! Much nicer than a typical air mattress since its not bouncy at all. Great size for two. The ONLY downside is that its large and very bulky to store. Would buy again and recommend to others- but would just make sure to say that it doesnt store as a small item.

I bought this for a tent trip out west. Not for backpacking, too heavy and bulky. But for car/tent camping it’s great. Temperatures down to 30F and didn’t feel the cold. I was able to inflate to my comfort and never lost air during the night. Rolling it back up takes a bit of learning and in the beginning you feel like you’re wrestling a bear, But once I got the hang of it, it wasn’t a problem. Be sure to store it open when not in use traveling and it should last you a good long time. Great value for the money!

If you've ever shared an air mattress with a larger partner than you know it's problematic. This evenly distributes the support and self inflates so you are getting an arm workout to pump it up. Love taking this camping. Fit 2 adults and 2 kids.

This travel bed is just as comfortable as my purple bed I have at home. I work from home 4 times a week and is a HUGE difference in my sleep due to a previous back injury.

I was astounded by how comfortable this is! Using the stuff sack as an inflator helper works like a charm. Two of these fit perfectly in my old backpacking tent allowing me to upgrade my camping experience while still maintaining my dignity.

This one has the same problem as the first one, you have to top off the air every night. First one got pun tured by a rock, super comply when you're falling asleep but requires nightly top ups of air.The company refunded the purchase price for my second pad! They obviously care about their products and customers. It's also obvious these usually hold air much longer than the ones Sent to me. The only l y reason I didn't take the free replacement they offered was because this sleeping pas is super comfortable even when it's not completely inflated.I almost can't wait for this pad get beaten up so I can buy pad number 3! Great product, great customer service!

This is excellent for camping. we use two in our North face Storm break 2 tent when car camping and it's the best night's sleep ever! it fits the tent footprint perfectly.
