One of my friends told me about this chair that she and her husband use on the beach. Her glowing reviews did not disappoint. Bought it for my mom for their vacation. She was initially concerned about it's stability and her ability to get up from it. Those concerns were quickly erased.Pros: lightweight, comfortable, easy to assemble and breakdown, carrying case, low volume when not in chair formCons: wish there were more color options

I'm an ultralight backpacker, and an ultralight chair is the Heliox Chair Zero coming in at a pound. These are several pounds and I probably wouldn't backpack with them. Instead, I got them for car camping, and I very much like them. I could get the cheap folding chairs, but I wanted something that wasn't bulky when packed up. These are pretty comfy.They are a little bit of a challenge to set up, but I think that's typical for this style of chair. Once you figure out how to do it, it's not that bad. It's nice that it has additional pocket storage for things like a phone. You can also, albeit tightly, attach the bag to the bottom cross support if you want it not to disappear while the chair is set up or want additional storage.These are a nice and reasonable alternative more expensive options. I like the high back that allows me to lounge. These are, all in all, great chairs.

These chairs have a lot of good features. They pack down small enough to bring anywhere (or just leave in the car at all times). They assemble and knock down pretty easily and quickly. And they’re relatively comfortable.We’ve been using them all summer…camping, at kids sporting events, at backyard parties. They have held up pretty well, except one of the black plastic feet on 1 chair has broken so that the metal leg now sits directly on the ground.The reasons I say they aren’t great: the chairs are a bit wobbly. Not terrible for us, but for someone who doesn’t have good balance, it might be a problem. The chairs are also a bit narrow in the seat. I’m not big, 5-10 and 190lbs, but my hips feel squished when sitting, and I can’t sit for too long without having to get up due to discomfort.All in all, we’re pleased with our purchase, since these are relatively comfortable and take up way less room than our old chairs. But I wish they would figure out the comfort in the hips a bit better.

We had some larger chairs that were much heavier but were also more comfy. However on a recent trip we couldn't bring them as they would not have fit in the car. This is a perfect solution, they pack very small, about 18in long and about 5in diameter and each chair is only about 3.5 lbs. So, for fitting in the car it is a perfect solution. I am not a little guy, and the chair seems to work just fine in grass, we have used it several times at the local game and it works just great without sinking into the grass unless its soaked. Putting it together or taking it apart does take a couple of minutes, but once you have done it a couple of times it becomes second nature. This is a small price to pay for its other conveniences. Glad to have this in our supplies.

We purchased this pair of chairs for their compact portability to take with us on our motorcycle rides. They are exactly great for that purpose. Can't expect something that breaks down this small to be extremely comfortable but they are ok. On the initial delivery, we received only a single chair rather than the pair ordered. The seller OutdoorLifestyle-US was quick to respond and make the correction by providing replacement product.

This is the best beach chair I have had. The ease of putting it up, taking it down, and carrying it couldn’t have been easier. We did a problem where one of the rings to hold your armrest up cracked, and customer service was extremely prompt and took care of the problem. Would highly recommend these chairs to anyone.

It is a comfortable chair and seems to be quite sturdy. Time will tell as I've only used them once. The aluminum frame goes together quite well though it is a bit tricky getting all the support rods into their proper attachment points. The problem arises when you are trying to slip the pockets on the fabric portion of the chair onto their respective rods. It is a tight stretch to get the pocket over the rod and the pocket is vinyl and it collapses before it slips over the support rod. As it is you need three hands to set it up. One to stretch the fabric, one to hold the rod firmly and one to open the pocket and guide it onto the rod. Hopefully, it will get easier over time.

Love this chair. Easy to put together, sturdy and high off ground to get in and out. Packs small and light. I take it to all my beach trips including international.

These chairs are super comfy and a great size. Small, compact and light weight, everything we wanted in camp chairs.The first build of the chair is a major challenge. You honestly have to wrestle the sling seat onto the pole base. We we concerned that we might snap one of the poles in the proceas. That being said the pole base is all connected internally by a rubberband system so you won't loose any parts and it seems to be super sturdy.Hoping the fabric will stretch over time and become slightly easier to assemble!

Surprisingly sturdy and stable, arm rests make it super comfortable. Easy to set up, break down and stows well in provided case. I always take it with me when kayak camping.

Compact and lightweight. Bought them for motorcycle trips. A little tough to hook the back on but once you find the trick that works for you it's pretty smooth. Comfy and easy to break down and put away.

Great chair that packs up very small. We put them up and left them up for a while since they were pretty tight to get on the first time. Going on a kayak camp trip and these are perfect. Super comfortable to boot.

I travel all over the US to play pickleball. This chair packs small enough to put in my bag and is comfortable to sit in for the long haul! I'm 5'10" and post knee replacement. The arms make it easy to get up without a struggle. The high back provides great support.

I travel quite a bit and wanted a chair that could easily fit into my suitcase. I have another on of those you sling on your shoulder but it is too big when not travelling by car. This fit into my knapsack and I also had my carry on suitcase. The first time took a little figuring out , but after that it was no problem.. I recommend putting together at home first so a complete stranger who sees you fiddling with it doesn't have to come over and offer help. :)

The chairs arrived on time and were used for an air show. They were light and easy to carry, just wish they had a strap to put over shoulder, which I will probably look for to have next time we use them. They are very comfortable, with no instructions, we still managed to figure out how to put them together. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would buy again.

I was going to use these loops to hold the bag under the chair as shown in the sales photos. The first loop pulled out of the bag and shredded, and the second loop began to fail - before I even had the chance to attach the bag to the chair. I won't be returning them, but will repair and reinforce both bags before I attempt to use the bag attached as shown. If the chairs themselves perform as they ought to, I will change the overall rating.I changed the rating for this chair to reflect the great customer service I received from King Camp. Yes, the loops are still torn out, but King Camp was generous in their handling of the complaint.

Very comfortable

Took a set of two on an 18-day raft trip through the Grand Canyon, despite the super fine sand, getting rained on, thrown in dry bags and setup/repacked every single day, these guys remained some of the most coveted seats amongst the crew (even over the more expensive chairs other people brought) and I’m looking forward to using them on many trips to come.

I love them, my wife wishes the dear was slightly wider.

Purchased these camp chairs for the high back. We also have the low back chairs, but these are more comfortable and slightly taller (which makes it easier to sit and stand). Easy to assemble and has a much sturdier feel.

Put them together in living room. Hard to put together the first time. Became easier are seating in them and stretching some. Fit back in holder package easily.

I take on my chair on motorcycle camping trips. Prefer to have arms on my chair - more relaxing with minimal weight. Quality is excellent and like the pouch for misc items.

No lumbar support! Otherwise, excellent! I got a camping pillow to make it more comfortable, but some wouldn’t care for the extra baggage.
