Just received it. I'll update if any negative comments. I was looking at the reviews and wasn't sure if it would fit my car. I ordered it and happy that it fits!! Cannot comment on the durability for now.

It Really is self inflating! Open the valve and you can feel it start to inflate. First time did take a little longer than expected but after 30 mins it was fine. The padding is thick enough and was comfortable to lay in for short naps. We used it primarily to rest and tailgate during our kids volleyball tournaments so have not tested for overnight sleeping. It’s much better with the pad than without for sure! It was also a perfect fit In the trunk of the model y. The thickness of the padding is really nice and think enough to where you won’t feel the hard surface of the y. It also fits in the frunk for easy storage.

This sleeping pad is well-constructed and designed. I will be using this in my camper as well as in my rooftop tent, heck I could even use it in the truck bed. Good product overall.

I bought this for our upcoming car adventure and was surprised it fit perfectly. I own an Ioniq 5 2022 EV. Laid out flat, my wife and I will do just right.Two caps on the mat are not labeled, but you have 0% of being wrong. Remove the cap, and depending on whether you want to fill with air, or release it, flip the filter/valve, and the direction of its flow is changed, and the mat fills with air. The mat is Filled with "rebound foam" because it fills with are to the shape of the mat. For more firmness, add a bit of additional air. (probably by mouth would not be my choice, but work with what you got).Now to empty it will take a little more effort but not a big deal. Flip the valve, and the air is released. Continue to fold/roll the mat as flat as you can and replace the cap. There, ready to store, and you can be on your way. It does have a top and bottom side. The bottom is waterproof; depending on what surface you place this mat on, it will resist wear. The top side is not noisy when lying on and feels soft and enough comfort for camping. Maybe not glamping. Too bad this design wasn't used for floatation devices when I was a kid. Beach play may have been less cumbersome.

I don't own a Tesla but I always look for a nice camping mat for me and my wife. My wife has hard time going g camping because of sleeping on hard surface. When I saw this I had to try it to see if I would like it. This is true self inflating mat. You don't need to pump it manually or use blower, just open the caps and it will start to inflate. You can use blower to make it firmer but I didn't. Nice cushion for your sleep. I have been using it for 3 days on the floor and has felt great when I get up in the morning. I like this mat so much I might just order a Tesla Y model. lol~

We don't have a Tesla, but this still works just fine in the back of our SUV. I would wager that it will fit "good enough" in almost any SUV for one sleeper, and probably two. I've used it in the back of our Matrix by myself and it worked a treat, YMMV.

The reason I give 4 not 5 stars it’s because the mattress came with a few small stains, I also wish it wasn’t so big. I have it in my Jeep Compass 2022. It seems like a good quality mattress but it’s just the first day so hopefully it stays the same.

This is a nice compromise between an air mattress, which takes very little space and memory foam which is more comfortable but takes a lot of space. I just started using it so not sure on durability. Fits in a model 3 but bunches up a little bit in the curve

it's easy to inflate and comfortable for car camping. I even used it for a pic nik on the beach.the best part of this is that it actually rolls back up perfectly into the carry bag and fits into the frunk exactly as shown in the pictures. highly recommend.

This car air mattress is easy to be inflated and deflated but it’s a bit thin for heavier people… would’ve preferred it to be a bit thicker.Other than that it’s working well and it fits perfectly in my car, it’s great for a day at the beach relaxing by the car or for camping. This is definitely better for lighter weight people as it’s a bit thin and starts to fit the floor with too much pressure. It’s easy to wipe clean when needed with the material used.Overall a good solution for camping but not the best for heavier folks like myself.

This Tesla Model Y sleeping mattress is easy to inflate. It is big enough for two persons.This evening mattress seems durable and strong. It can deflate easily too with just to flip the valve and it will work.Although built for Tesla, it is also as good for other vehicles like SUV, Honda Fit and Tacoma. This sleeping pad is also good to have when camping, hiking, sleep overs and basically for a guest to use.Final thoughts, a very unique looking sleeping mattress for vehicles but can be used in various other places.

? Overview ?Just got my Model Y and was super excited to take it out for a spin on a light camping trip. Instead of setting up camp in the typical tent, I decided to go tentless and to camp in my car and this was a fantastic idea! A hard roof over my head, soft foam mattress, and tons of leg room in the back. I'm not sure I'd ever go regular camping again! To inflate the mattress, simply unroll, flip the valve, and watch as it blows itself up. It hold the air in well with no leaks and can easily be deflated by flipping the valve and rolling the foam back up. The bed itself has a new foam smell to it so I recommend airing it out before using it. Lastly it stores away safely in the frunk or sub trunk of the Model Y.? Pros ?- Self inflating- Durable textiles- Comfortable back support- Easy packing and storage? Cons ?- Takes a bit of practice to roll it back into the small storage but well worth it compared to carrying a tent around? Overall ?This self inflating Tesla mattress is a must have for Tesla owners who plan on going camping! Much better than carrying a tent around all day and it's much better than the blowup inflatable competitors. I would highly recommend this mattress to my friends and family!

This is a very comfortable, Easy to inflate, easy to deflate bed. Well worth the price. I've tried several double and Triple the price, and this is the Best yet. I paid for this myself, and glad for the purchase. It's made for. Model Y odviously because it's slightly larger than the Model 3, but stills fits well. I'm sure it would fit S+X as well. It even butts up to the door handles so you can use the armrest as a small table for say for your phone. I highly Recommended this product.

I don't live in my car.... but I do drive from Portland Oregon to Arizona several times a year and I don't always want to shell out $100 for a motel for 5 or 6 hours. It's easier and faster to stop at a Flying J or Pilot truck stop, or somewhere that has a fast charger. I pull over to the far side of the parking lot and crawl in back and catch a 2 -3 hour nap. I was using a sleeping bag but it just wasn't enough padding to be comfortable. I saw this and hoped it would make nap time a little better.When I first got it I wasn't too impressed... it was thinner than I expected.... but after about 3 days it seemed to inflate on its own. It's about 3 -4 inches thick. I think you can add air to it to make it even thicker. It started getting cold and rainy in Portland a month ago so I started my trek south to Arizona. My first nap.. WAY more comfortable... maybe too comfortable. My intended 2-3 hour nap turned into a 5 hour sleepiest! When I woke up I wasn't stiff... didn't feel like I slept on the floor, and I was well rested.I AM IMPRESSED. It fits the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y pretty well..... I also tried it in our Toyota RAV4 and a 2nd Generation Scion xB... It fit pretty well in all of them. This would be awesome for people who want to camp in their car or travel and don't want to stay in a motel. This is comfortable and when you're done sleeping it rolls up so you get your space back. I really like this thing. I'm thinking about ordering another and using both back to back in our 2018 Dodge Caravan... that would be a great camping rig! AWESOME product. Well made and resists rips and tears.

We have the 2021 MYLR and were interested in trying out Camp Mode and this inflatable mattress seemed perfect to accomplish that dream.Unfortunately, the dream really wasn’t a dream when it met reality.The mattress inflates really easily via a 12V compressor we keep in the frunk. Once inflated it does fit into the cargo area with the seats down nicely. However, that’s where things get tough.The mattress, when fully inflated, is less than 3” thick. This resulted in several parts of our bodies sinking through the mattress to the floor when we tried laying on our sides (ie. Our hips and shoulders). And you really have to lay on your side to sleep because there simply isn’t enough room for two full adults to lay flat on their backs. Curling on the side is definitely the best way to go but the mattress just doesn’t really support that.All in all, yes it is made for that space in the Y, but it’s not a comfortable sleep. I wish this thing had about 2” of foam on top of it to help cushion it. I may look at cutting out some foam and making a custom foam top, but it’s just bulkier to transport at that point.Instead of sleeping in the car, we may start looking at those tents that attach to the car so we can have an enclosed (and heated) area attached to it.

My partner and I put this in the back of his Jeep Cherokee. It's a little long for that vehicle with the seats back. But, when we stopped to rest, we put the seats forward and the mattress fit great. It is self-inflating. Keep in mind that it takes a while to inflate the first time. I laid it out for a day and night to let it plump up. It is very comfortable and much warmer than any air mattress. Also, my guy is a big dude and I get almost thrown off from an air mattress when he gets on it. This mattress is self-inflating memory foam and isolates me from him moving around. I'm going to try it in my Ford Focus hatchback next.

Fits my 2013 Cadillac SRX decently. Definitely nice to use for traveling and saving from using a hotel and giving some outback outback kind of traveling. Can be used on the ground also for extra padding in a tent too for 2. Takes a while to inflate well but does a better job than anything else but an inflatable mattress. But this is more comfortable.

This is perfect for anyone who likes to camp in their vehicle, or who has kids that want to nap on an outing. Very heavy material, perfect thickness ( Not too thick but not too thin), comfortable and seems durable. Easy to use and inflate. It folds or rolls up for easy storage in the back of your vehicle.

Got this for the back of our Land Rover LR3, so I will not review the fit since it is not a Model Y.Quality seems top notch - no smell, set up in hours (expected after first opening the compressed packaging).It is not quite 3" thick - just under.It is fine for the kids, or if you are a back-sleeper - but there just isn't the thickness required to make it even close to a normal mattress. But is it better than a regular camping mat? Yes.Instructions say to store it flat, with both valves open - but this thing is rather large to fine a place to do that. It states you can store it rolled - but to open back up occasionally so the foam won't be compromised.Extra effort, though the foam is what makes this mattress usable being so thin.Thicker mattresses would be more $ and ones w/o foam would be cheaper - but COLD.I would take the foam insulation padding of this over one w/o.Since we only sleep in the back of the Land Rover very occasionally, I am happy to keep using this where a quick overnight, or muddy/rainy/rocky areas make tent set-up nearly impossible and time-consuming.

I specifically thought of my brother when ordering this camping mattress. He is coming for Thanksgiving, and he is used to sleeping on a futon, close to the floor. That's what he likes. Well, I tried this mattress out and it is so easy to use, inflating and deflating are actually done for you, and it is so comfy cozy! I slept on it and didn't want to get up! I don't think my brother is going to want to leave!The color is a real nice green and it is conveniently stored away in its own carrying sack. I love it! I used to camp out a lot and this might bring me back to enjoying camping!!

The AIRELAX Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad for the Tesla is an excellent option if you're looking to camp out in your car. Our family travels frequently by car and while the kids normally like to get out and stretch their legs or run while on a stop, usually the husband just wants to take a good nap after all the driving. The Airelax mattress expands quickly and effectively, and it provides a soft but sturdy place for the family to nap. While a pump isn't necessary as it self inflates, it's nice to have a hand pump, just in case you like your mattress a bit firmer. The mattress is well made with no holes or leaks and it has some cushioning thanks to padding in the mattress itself. The husband took it on an overnight trip along with a sleeping bag and found that the mattress offered enough support so that he didn't have any back or neck issues after sleeping on it. The mattress is easy to collapse and fold up and is small enough to fit in his frunk. The only complaint he had about the mattress he had is that it doesn't have additional padding to fill the space between the seats where your legs go when sitting in the back seat. While the mattress doesn't fold down into that leg gap for our family (none of us are tall enough to use the whole length of the mattress), if you are very tall, you may want to either fill the leg space or sleep with your head towards the trunk to avoid the mattress flopping down on the edges. Overall, it's a good quality mattress that is comfortable to sleep on and offers good support while camping out in your car.

Surprisingly comfortable, with modern lines and easy to inflate. I was skeptical of the “self inflates” claim but it really does self inflate. Just keep the valves on both sides open and yes- it self inflates. Appears durable and looks really nice. A high quality item. Would not hesitate to purchase. Now if only I can fit a kitchen in my Tesla, I would be happy.

This is exactly what I want. I put a wool blanket over it and then a sheet over it. I also like that I can take the parts out and compress them into a suitcase. Long story short, I loved sleeping on the Y for the first time - the mattress was so convenient, comfortable, and very useful! Easy to set up and fold back into the trunk at night. When I slept in my Tesla, I thought the padding might be a little thin. But I can always handle it, overall, can't complain too much, everything else is satisfactory, so I'm glad I bought it.

I bought this for camping in my own vehicle (Honda Fit) and it works perfectly with mine. Easy to set up and use and put away once I am done with it. Surprisingly comfortable!
