ATEPA Honcho Poncho

I often work outside, and the weather in TX is so unpredictable. This poncho is perfect to tote along for those unpredictable days. So compact- it folds into itself and the “pouch” becomes a large zipper pocket when unfolded. It is large and roomy and accommodates any size. I am 5’3 and it goes to my ankles. My husband- as pictured- is 6’3 and it fits him as well.
Soft, warm, portable and functional!

Really warm and soft! Comfortable

I go camping throughout the year so when it’s winter season you got to be prepared for the weather. I love how it’s waterproof and has a small carry case/storage pouch. It’s very warm and fits me good as I stand at 5’10. Very nice especially when sleeping haha

So easy to put on, take off. For anyone who struggles with winter coats. Especially in wheel chair/ transport chair. Keeps my wife warm, the hood is a big plus.

I got this on a whim when I saw it was available to review. I do a lot of work helping scouts and scouters prepare for backpacking trips. This looked like interesting insulation for use around camp. So, I requested it, not knowing what to expect.
Here's the low-down:
- it feels a bit thicker than an old-school poncho liner.
- material and filling are synthetic and hydrophobic. It will get "wet" in rain or from sweat, but it shouldn't mat and lose insulation value.
- I'm 6'4" and it fits me well enough. The design means it isn't likely as long as a rain poncho.
- the hood has elastic around the edge to keep it from flopping in the breeze.
- the whole thing stuffs in a built-in pouch.
- The sides can be left open, or snapped together.
Overall, I keep thinking of more and more use cases for this interesting bit of supplemental insulation.

I ordered this poncho to complete my camping essentials. I have an inflatable mattress in my camping tent, but sometimes it can be difficult to block out the cold in nature, especially considering that even if I know the temperature accurately, it can vary depending on the wind conditions. It's a bit wider than I expected, but I don't mind because it's perfect in terms of length. The fact that it can be folded and fit into its own pouch is fantastic, making the poncho very practical. I haven't tested its waterproof feature yet, but we'll see. So far, it's great.

I purchased to wear to my kid's outdoor sports games. It has definitely been warm on the chilly evenings, which is perfect. I like that it is folded inside of itself when games first start, which makes it easy to carry. Once the nifgtcair starts to chill, it is easy to unfold from its pocket pouch and put on.

This is baggy on me but I still prefer wearing it. I have not had the ability to test it being water resistant, but it keeps the wind out very well.

This poncho piece combines the warmth of a blanket with the convenience of a water-resistant sleeping bag and the style of a hoodie. Ideal for camping, backpacking, and outdoor events, it keeps you cozy and dry in various weather conditions. It can be a bit cumbersome if you are doing activities around the fire pit, but it is a great hoodie in the mornings (while camping) or evenings before going into the tend as it keeps you warm. This is a must-have for any outdoor enthusiast looking for a versatile and stylish way to stay warm while exploring the great outdoors.

Nice

Very warm and comfy to use for a camping trip or your morning coffee on the deck, a lot of pockets,

Awesome thing!

So warm, keeps the wind and cold from ruining softball games.

Perfect for cold days of soccer and baseball

Awesome covers so well and keeps you warm!

This has been a game changer for those cold soccer games on the sidelines. The material is buttery soft and folding it in and out of the front pouch is a breeze! Worth every penny!

I found it to be really comfortable and really stowable and really versatile. Whether you’re sitting at the beach or reading a book at night in your living room. Perfect companion. This is always in my carry-on backpack on the plane or in the hotel room.

An amazing thing to keep the wife cozy while sitting outside.

Just as described… nice, think and comfortable. Have in my vehicle for rainy day out door activities in spring and fall season. Totally recommend

After getting soaking wet, put this on. Warmed me up for the remainder of the very cold football game. I had hand warmers in the front pocket, and they completely warmed my hands and dried out my gloves! The front pocket is really nice sitting in the stands to put the things that you need to grab white Chapstick and it’s nice and big for your hands, gloves, etc. definitely keeps you dry

This poncho is very bulky but it's light and compresses easily. The loft of the insulation let's it trap body heat efficiently so it's very warm. The large front zipped pocket is really handy.

The design makes this convenient for disabled folks or anyone who wears bulky medical devices.

Pay attention when putting it on - cuz due to the design it's very easy to accidentally stick your head into an armhole (sleeve) instead of the neck. Having someone help you put it on will minimize errors.

It's NOT waterproof so it's not suitable for use in rainy weather. (The ad did NOT claim water repellence so this isn't a complaint.)

That aside, I'm glad I bought it.

I get compliments on this wherever I go.

I love this! I bought this for when I go to take the dog outside to go to the bathroom in the winter. It’s super cozy, and has a big front pocket and side pockets. Easy to clean very comfortable. Recommend.

Wife loves this for outdoor activities during the winter. Says other teachers are looking to order the same, for bus duty.

Packs away nicely into a handy small package. Keeps you warm and the wind off of you. Appears to be made of quality materials. Highly recommend.

Wife finds it super comfy and convenient
