I was skeptical about this bag when I first ordered it, but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The shell quality seemed good and it was comfy against bare skin. The hood works well, and the full zipper is nice to convert the bag for blanket/quilt mode. I used this bag over the course of a three weeklong roadtrip thru the US in October. I used it in the car as well as outside with a tent. In the car it was warm and cozy well down into the mid twenties. I spent probably 10 nights sleeping outside with it in conjunction with a thermarest basecamp self-inflating pad (r value 6) thru a variety of mostly dry enviornments: Badlands NP, Moab, Mesa Verde, Four Corners, Oklahoma, and lastly Mississippi. Temps varied from mid 40s down to high 20s, and the bag, paired with a heavy weight base layer, wool socks, and a fleece hat kept me warm and comfortable almost every night. One exception was when we had some rain in Mississippi toward the end of our trip. I got some water in my tent and it soaked right through the bag, making the down insulation useless and my feet cold. Not sure why it is advertised as waterproof. However, for a $125 down bag this is probably to be expected. If you are just starting out with cold weather camping and do not want to get too invested, you cannot beat this bag for the price, but I would not use this bag for any serious backpacking excursions, it is simply on the heavier and bulkier side and not very practical since its not water resistant and does not have downtek or anything like that. For car camping and places you know water won't be an issue it is a great value though., curious to see how it will hold up over time.

It’s super light weight and comfy. I’m 5’4” 175lbs. It’s a little snug and the zipper does catch a little, but I’ve never had a sleeping bag that doesn’t. My 6’2” hubby can not use it because its too snug in the shoulder area. The zipper opens on the left. Most people prefer the right, but it no biggie. It’s a little noisy when you move around, but not bad. For being as light weight as it is, it is still pretty warm. I can be very cold and jump in this and within one minute start feeling warmer. It has a soft polyester feel to it, not fleecy, but the material really warms against your skin. It’s like a down jacket. If you are going to use this in really cold temps, get a fleece liner and you should be fine

We used these backpacking in the Smoky Mountains in Sept - the coldest it got was 46 degrees and we stayed nice and toasty in them. I wore pajamas on the cold night. The rest of the time it was in the low 50's and I was able to sleep in my underwear. My husband is 6'2" and he was quite comfortable. We both loved that the bottom of the sleeping bag was roomy but not too much.

Very warm and comfortable

I docked a star because the description says a left and a right zip bag can be zipped together but after contacting the seller it seems they only have right zip bags. I would have liked to zip two together and it is one reason why I picked this bag. I probably would have returned it for this reason if it wasn’t such a good bag otherwise. I Have not used it camping/hiking yet but it seems like a great lightweight bag. It is good quality material. Zipper works well. Fits a 6’1” man no problem. If you get hot feet you can unzip the bottom for ventilation. It has a gusset with a draw string and a hood also with a draw string so you can really block out the cold. It unzips all the way so you can use it as a blanket. It’s not the most expensive down bag out there and it’s good quality.

Acheté pour le voyage de classe de mon fils, il est très bien !L’intérieur est doux, il n’est pas trop épais. Je viens de le passer à la machine, il n’a pas bougé.Pour le prix, je recommande !

Excellent quality, have used it to -2 F with no problems. The advertised features are well designed and thoughtfully constructed. I wish there were some ties inconspicuously added inside to secure a sleep sac (I sewed in a 4inch pair, cut from soft laces, in each bottom corner and in each "corner' at the neck level) my silk sleep sac saves on laundering and allows a light cover when the night is warm. Very nice small size to fit the backpack. To achieve such compactability yet remarkable warmth, the internal dimensions are good for up to medium build adults but I'd guess a large/tall person would be a bit cramped.

After spending a cold fall November night on the Appalachian trail during a short 1 night section hike I did some reading and thinking about how to improve my shoulder season cold weather hammock gear. I ended up getting two items. First a Dutch cold weather sock to block wind all around my hammock. From all reports that will give me maybe a 5 degree boost in felt temp. I also got this rectangular down sleeping bag that would allow foot movement but also can be snugged up around my head to eliminate drafts. So far I have spent several nights using this bag as reported below.The first night, I tried them out in 45F temps and slept great all night. I was neither overly warm or cool. That night I wore jeans, two pairs of socks, a long sleeve shirt and a polyester fleece jacket with a stocking cap on my head. I had available more clothes but did not need them. I could have added another leg layer, shirt, scarf, gloves. I did end up pulling the sleeping bag over my head to keep my face from being cold and that worked good and was comfortable. I didn't do anything to snug the bag up around my head as I was not troubled by drafts. I did use an inexpensive 1 season hammock under quilt which does not work great with a diagonal lay but my feet were warm in this bag even though the under quilt was not all the way under them.It was a struggle to get into the bag which was expected. However, once in it I was comfortable and was not troubled by drafts which were a problem I have had with a separate top quilt. I seem to like to sleep with one leg bent and that pulls one foot out of the foot box and also tends to cause a draft that wakes me up occasionally during the night. Also, my foot gets cold easier if it is not in the foot box. The enclosed rectangular sleeping bag did not have that issue and allowed leg movement. If the night time temp is expected to be in the 60s then I will still use the top quilt because it is more convenient and less challenged by those temps.The second night I was chilled under the same conditions. After some consideration, my thought was that breathing into the sleeping bag caused moisture to accumulate that reduced the bag's insulating properties.So prior to my third night sleeping in this bag, I got a light merino wool balaclava. Last night I established a new personal record for cold weather hammock sleeping at 36F and I felt fine. I wore a few more clothes and kept my mouth outside the sleeping bag so I did not breath moist air into the sleeping bag. That also allowed me to close up the sleeping bag opening more using the drawstring so I did not get drafts.I had on 2 pairs of loose heavy socks, two leg layers (tights and ski pants), three upper body layers (long sleeve polyester tee shirt, sweatshirt, light fleece jacket), then two head layers (balaclava, and a toboggan). I also placed a polyester scarf over my face area so I was not directly breathing in cold air. It was hard to get it placed over my face and then close up the sleeping bag but I was able to struggle some and do it. My cheap under quilt does not align with my normal diagonal lay and so if I got my feet too far off the underquilt area they would feel chilled. However, I still like the freedom of leg movement that this bag providesI am a male, 5'-10" tall, and weigh 173 lbs. I use a 12' long hammock.

I think this one is going to work! I've been looking for an underquilt/sleeping pod solution for my hammock. I need it to be waterproof (relatively), it has to be long enough (I am 6'3") and wide enough (I am 240 lbs) and fit around my hammock with me in it, and keep me warm down to single digits. I have tried several including: Outdoor Vitals stormlight 15, chill gorilla, ENO ember, thermodown 15, and others. None of them work for me but this one works! It is long enough that my feet don't hang out and it still covers under my head. The only modification that I have to make is to add loops to the head so I can bungie it under my hammock. I would also prefer to have a drawstring down at the foot end to sinch it shut around the hammock but otherwise a very good option. It fluffs up nicely and is nice and wide at the feet. I haven't tested the water resistance yet but I plan on using it outside in 2 weeks so I'll know then.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 22 Y/O SON AND HE REALLY LIKES THE BAG. IT IS VERY LIGHT AND COMPACT. JUST RIGHT FOR HIKING.

Un bel sacco a pelo comodo caldo e fatto bene, poi ha la comodità non da poco che si può aprire tutto diventando o una coperta, o se si ha un altro sacco a pelo, un sacco a pelo matrimoniale.

Ottimo prodotto. Molto versatile grazie alla cerniera che ha tutt'intorno ai 3 lati, aprendola tutta volendo si può utilizzarlo come coperta. Tiene sufficientemente caldo ed é molto morbido internamente.
