Sleeping Bag
This is my first sleeping bag designed for back packing so when it arrived I was a little intimidated by its small, compact size and light weight, wondering how I would ever be able to get it back into the carrier bag and how it could be warm enough for camping in the mountains in late fall and early spring, so I was very pleasantly surprised after trying it out. I had no problem compressing it and getting it back into the carrier bag by myself. I am o pressed by the quality of the materials and of the workmanship.
The nylon shell is soft and smooth and water easily ran off it before it could be absorbed. Since it is water repellant and not water proof, I did wipe the area I had poured water on with a towel right after it ran off. The zippers all have a flap behind them to prevent air or water getting in when closed as does the carrier bag opening. The zippers are rugged and a high quality. The side zipper has 2 zipper pulls allowing it to be opened from the bottom. I love the zipper across the bottom which lets you have your feet out while the rest of you is snuggled in. I really like the fact that it can be opened flat so it can be used as a blanket or zippered to another sleeping back making a 2 person unit.
I haven’t used it on a camping trip yet so I cranked my bedroom AC and used it in a 50° bedroom. I had to open the bottom to let air circulate and unzip the side a little bc I was too warm so I believe the comfort temp of 44°F in the description is accurate and think that it will be fine for any temp that stays above freezing, especially with a mat or pad under it. It comes with 3 sturdy straps that can be threaded through loops on the exterior of the bag to secure the sleeping bag to a mat so it doesn’t slide off while you are sleeping. There are snaps that make it possible to wear it hands free as a cloak.
I definitely recommend and will update if that changes after using it when temperatures drop again next fall.

Excellent lightweight 3-season bag

This lightweight bag is a pleasant surprise. Knowing that temperature ratings for sleeping bags can sometimes be wildly optimistic, I had low expectations for a bag with 44.6 F “comfort” and 35.6 F “limit” ratings. Nevertheless, I set out to test it in an improvised tarp shelter on what promised to be a moderately chilly late spring overnighter. Using a ground tarp, uninsulated inflatable sleeping pad, and a poncho with liner to keep me away from the cold ground, I placed the sleeping bag on top, then climbed in wearing only my briefs and a long-sleeve base layer shirt. The bag felt very thin (not quite flimsy, but close), but I was quite warm when I got inside. Overnight I slept soundly, not waking up cold even once. I woke to a 36 degree morning, yet was still quite comfortable without any additional layers. Even my bare feet were fine. Granted, I am at home in colder temperatures than most, but even so that’s not bad for a bag with a comfort rating of 44.6!

As for construction and materials, it seems fairly good. The outer fabric is quite comfortable, though thin. I have not had a chance to test it in wet conditions or long-term, so I cannot comment on waterproofness or durability. The mix of real and synthetic down obviously insulates effectively and so far it has not bunched up. The zipper is decent, and the ability to unzip the feet is a nice option. The top of the bag can detach and be used as a hood, and has a drawstring to cinch it around the head so no stocking cap is needed on cold nights. The included compression sack is very nice, allowing the bag to be stored away very compactly. I also like the straps to hold the bag in place on a sleeping pad. They add some weight, but are definitely useful.

Of course I would not use this bag during my northern winters without additional layers, as it is not rated for extreme cold. However, as a three season bag it does the job very well. It is also quite comfortable and has some nice features. I currently have it strapped on my SAR pack and would not hesitate to use it in the field on a search if needed.

Super soft, compact, very light!

I was very impressed with this sleeping back. Firstly is is very soft! It includes a back and strap. This is very compact which is great if you are backpacking! The color green is not as bright as pictured and that was a pleasant surprise!

The sleeping bag itself measures 86.6"L× 29.5"W. I'm 5' 7" so its great for me but accommodating for taller folks as well. Made for 0℉/30℉ . I have camped when it got to the 30's it its darn cold, so having this bag be able to work in those cold temperatures and being so light weight is great!

Overall quality, fit, finish and comfort, I am pleased.

ROOMY, WARM, LIGHTWEIGHT

I was skeptical because this is a random brand, but its WAY better than the $200 Kelty bag I got from REI. This one is WIDE, the bottom unzips for air-ing out my feet, and its lightweight. I car-camped using this when it got down to about 40F, and I was extremely toasty with my feet a little bit out.

Nice, comfy down sleeping bag

It's a good sleeping bag. It's down filled, packs up easily, can be used as a blanket or worn as a sort of wrap while sitting around the campfire or making coffee m in the mornings. Since it's summer I haven't used it much and can't say how well it does in the cold but with the use of down and the drawstring hood that can cinch down around your head I expect it will do fine it moderate cold weather. I like that you can unzip just the bottom around your feet for some airflow if you get too hot.

I would buy this again (and probably will when my wife sees it and steals mine)

Warm and roomy

I recently took the ATEPA Down Sleeping Bag on a cold camping trip in Colorado, and it exceeded my expectations. The nights were chilly, but this sleeping bag kept me warm and comfortable throughout. The down filling did an excellent job, and I didn't feel any cold spots, which was a relief. The lightweight design and compact compression sack made it easy to carry in my backpack without taking up too much space or adding significant weight.

I'm 6'6", and I found the bag roomy enough, which can be a challenge with many sleeping bags. The fabric felt nice against my skin, and the zippers worked smoothly without snagging. The dual-temperature rating is a handy feature, although I haven't yet tested it in warmer conditions.

Overall, the ATEPA Down Sleeping Bag seems well-made and durable, with no issues of feathers leaking or seams coming apart. It performed admirably during my cold camp in Colorado, and I'm looking forward to using it on future trips.

Wonderful bag!

Hiyas!

this bag is slightly overpriced, but I have to say it's very well made and ultra-comfortable. It holds up to it's temperature rating and packs easily too.

So far I haven't found any cold spots in it- seems they have done a great job of keeping the insulation evenly distributed, so that's a great benefit. Maybe that's why it's a little high on the price?

I recommend this bag overall. Been a great addition to my moto-camping load out!

Quality through out

This sleeping bag is warm, lightweight, compact, and easy to repack. The entire sleeping bag is well designed with straps and zippers placed in the correct location. It is also designed to be converted to a wearable blanket. Construction is well done with precise stitching and quality materials. The same level of quality extends to the storage bag and the strap for the sleeping pad. It’s a well-made bag.

A great value for a mild weather bag with (partial) Down filling

I want to get this out of the way right at the start. This is NOT a true Down sleeping bag. It is insulated with something called Coldmaster Down. I had to dig a little and read the fine print to figure out what that meant. It is 55% Down and 45% synthetic insulation. Down is basically the gold standard for lightweight and compressible insulation. Gram for gram nothing keeps you warm like down.

With that out of the way, this is still a good sleeping bag. The Coolmaster Down mix is a nice compromise. It is still very compressible and lightweight. On a 50 F night it kept me comfortable, so I am also happy with the warmth it provides. I got this to be my Summer bag and I think it will be perfect.

Fit was good (I am 5' 8" 225lbs) and the material was pleasant to the touch It also comes with straps to attach it to a sleeping pad.

Very light and comfortable

This is a pretty light and compact bag, you could definitely use it for backpacking. And camping. It's on the thin side, but it does seem warm. It is made of 55% goose down and 55% polyester fill, so it's a mix. I haven't tried it out in the outdoors yet so I'll have to update this post. I do think I would be a bit concerned using it in super cold temps because it is pretty thin... I do like the comfort of this though, unlike a tapered mummy bag you have a bit more space (it's more square), and you still have the top "hood" part that can be cinched up in the cold.

H
Hana
WOW!!

Edit: I lowered my rating because the down near the feet is not lofting properly (no moisture and the bag was not washed as I use liners), or the zippers are letting in drafts. Either way, this bag is not usable without a quilt across the feet at anything under 50 degrees. This is very frustrating as now this bag is simply not usable without extra layers. I am now using it as a quilt since it can be unzipped over another sleeping bag. This was a great bag and I'm quite dissapointed as it's only been a short time. Still leaving it at 4 stars because it's still a great bag but they need to figure out their baffles or zipper drafts.

----------------------------

Ok so I am an avid outdoorswoman and I've used sleeping bags and blankets from very well known outdoor brands. This sleeping bag is INCREDIBLE!! Then I used it on a cold night, about 43 degrees for a low. I was actually comfortable! It was roomy for my size large body and would probably comfortably fit someone much taller. I am floored by the quality and comfort of this bag, it easily rivals some of the much more expensive brands. EASILY rivals. It also spreads out into a nice blanket which is super comfy. This kind of quality for the price isn't easy to find, I say get it now before the price goes up!!
