The KingCamp 200L Festival Trolley is one of those purchases that turns out to be more useful than expected. The 200 litre capacity is genuinely large enough to handle a full festival load or a serious camping haul, and yet when folded down it comes to just 38.5x27.5x56cm, which fits easily into a car boot without taking over the space. Setting it up takes only a few seconds and there is no assembly needed at all, which is a good start.

The frame is made from Q195 steel and feels well built, with a PE honeycomb bottom board that distributes weight evenly across the base. The stated 180kg static load capacity seems credible given how the frame handles heavy loads without flexing noticeably. The 600D Oxford fabric with PVC coating is tough and has shown good resistance to scuffs, mud and rain across several uses, and there are no signs of wear or delamination after regular outdoor use. Long term durability looks promising based on the materials used.

The 18cm diameter wheels are 9cm wide, which makes a real difference on soft ground. Sand, mud and gravel that would stop a standard trolley in its tracks are handled without much effort. The 360 degree rotating front wheels make steering in tight spaces straightforward, and the one step brake is easy to engage on slopes, which adds a useful level of control when the trolley is fully loaded.

One detail that stands out is the self standing handle, which stays upright rather than falling into mud or wet grass when you let go. The fabric liner removes completely and can be machine washed, which makes cleaning up after a beach trip or festival genuinely easy rather than a chore. The hanging bags on the side are useful for keeping smaller items accessible, and the front mesh cup holders are a practical addition for drinks or a flask.

For the price, this trolley offers good value. It handles the kind of varied outdoor use that would wear out a cheaper product, and the design choices show some thought about real world conditions rather than just warehouse use. Whether it is being used for fishing, picnics, garden work or shopping, it covers all of those tasks without feeling like a compromise.

This is a really well made, nicely designed trolley that has multiple uses.

First impression getting it out of the box was just how solid it feels - I've had a similar, more lightweight trolley of this type before and it always felt a little like it was going to shake to pieces in use. That is not the case here, this feels like a strong, heavy duty trolley and the capacity guidance reinforces that.

Folded up, this isn't exactly tiny, but it does pack down into a convenient rectangular shape which means it fits into car boots or other storage easily, there is even a useful travel cover which keeps everything in one place. Usually when putting a cover back on to something like this, it's next to impossible, but this was pretty easy to take on and off.

Going from folded up to ready to use takes just seconds - unfold it and push the base down, and attach the pulling handle, and you're ready to go. Similarly, folding back up is just as quick and easy.

In use, this trolley's capacity is HUGE! You could easily fit all you need for a week's camping in there, with room and weight capacity to spare. It's strong enough you could even transport your kids in there too. I got nowhere near the suggested maximum weight, and the trolley was still easy to pull and manoeuvre, the wide wheels make getting over rough terrain or even sand a breeze. The brakes are an essential addition too - it's easy to flip them on and then you can unpack without concern of your trolley rolling off into the distance.

One other nice feature - the trolley has storage pockets on the front and back, meaning you can stow a drinks bottle or snacks if you've got a long way to go. A really simple but well thought through addition that makes using the trolley even more enjoyable.

Overall, I'm really pleased with this. It's incredibly sturdy, can carry loads, and is just very easy to use. Brilliant design, well executed. It may not be the cheapest on the market, but it's definitely worth every penny.
