KingCamp Tornado Tabletop Fire Pit with Stand

Very fun mini fire pit! Burns hot. Needs pretty consistent additional wood since it is so small. But that’s expected with a volume this size.

I ordered the low model of the king camp smokeless tabletop fire pit - my friend and I do a lot of local camping and we spent quite a bit of money on buying logs for the big fire pits that are at these campsites. We were looking for something smaller and more economical, and this fit our needs. Not only is it lightweight and compact, but we were quite impressed with the burning time on the wood pellets. Soft pellets would last about 30 minutes while the harder pellets about 52 minutes. The pellets were easy to light, though I would recommend a long handle lighter to reach inside the small cavity to avoid burning oneself. The exterior becomes extremely hot, so be careful and make sure you have it placed in a designated location before you light it.

It was easy to put together - it came with a nice bag for storage but limited instructions on how to use the unit from the paper guide that was included. I ended up going to a competitor website online and follow their instructions, which worked perfect perfectly for this KingCamp stove.

Pros: lightweight, long burning time, depending on the type of wood pellets used, nice carrying bag to store stove between uses

Cons: none except a warning to not touch the exterior, which becomes very hot while in use - be sure to put the stove on a fireproof surface before lighting.

As an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves spending time outside with friends and family, I've tried a few fire pits over the years, and I must say, this smokeless fire pit is going to impriove my outdoor experiences. The smokeless feature was particularly nice; compared to traditional fire pits, it kept smoke to a minimum, allowing me to enjoy the warmth without the discomfort of smoke irritants or lingering odors. I love camping and camp fires. This was the perfect little camp fire for our table top. My daughter loves to pull it out and use it to roast smores on the patio. Its super easy to set up and start and clean up is just as much of a breeze.

This came in handy while working out in my shed this winter. I had some gifts to assemble in the cold and having a controlled fire made a big difference in the temperature while still giving me the comfort of being safe.

We've enjoyed using this in the backyard and on some camping trips. It has a nice presentation when it arrives along with a bag to store it in. I've used a mix of pellets and natural wood. It's a lot easier to get it started with the pellets and then add some strips of kindling in there as the night goes on. It's pretty small but puts out a great flame. We've taken it on camping trips too. The quality and the build overall I'd say is great. Not perfect, but well designed and functional. I'd don't really have any complaints worth mentioning. This would make a fun gift too I think.

I was very excited to receive this smokeless fire pit because it looks so cool. I am an avid smokeless fire pit user and couldn't wait to try this one out.
There is minimal assembly needed to get this little fire pit ready. Once it is easily assembled, I loaded up this pit with some heating pellets and lit it. I love that this is a taller unit compared to my Solo Stove Mesa, so I could definitely get in more pellets and some longer kindling. The opening at the top is narrower than the Solo Stove, but that did not hamper our burning. What really set this fire pit apart was that it has multiple rows of air holes at the side, which created a twisted double helix flame that was awesome to watch. Along with this very cool flame feature, it also held up better in wind than the Mesa. This particular day we had 15 mph winds and the Mesa went out a couple times while this KingCamp fire pit kept on going. I was also very surprised at how much cooler the outside of this fire pit is compared to the Solo Stove. I did not need gloves to carefully pick this up or move it (for testing).
The next day I was able to remove the fire ring from the top and easily dump out the ashes left inside.
My only complaint regarding this fire pit is that it comes with a velvet bag for storage. The bag is a very nice black velvet, however, velvet will not do well in the elements if left outside, and I would rather have a easy cleanable surface that could also double as outdoor storage/protection.
Overall I absolutely love this KingCamp smokeless tabletop fire pit. Assembly was easy, the overall look and performance was great, the flames on this were amazing to watch, and cleanup was a breeze. I love that this fire pit creates a really interesting centerpiece when entertaining outdoors, and I am sure it will be a hit this holiday season when guests see it in action!

I like it! Frankly, the Solo Stove Mesa XL seems to be everywhere now and there are many knockoffs. If you want something that looks unique, this is the fire pit for you! It kind of looks like a rocket! It is double walled for great circulation and a nice flame. As shown in my video, it seems to stay cool to the touch on the lower part of the stove/fire pit. The legs were tricky to install but you only do that once. Now it is solid as a rock. As mentioned, assembly was a little finicky, especially the long bolt that holds it all together, but I got it done and now love the stove. Comes with a nice bag that will keep it scratch free. This would definitely be a unique housewarming or wedding gift.
