ATEPA TREKKER Backpacking Cooking System 900ml

The larger size pot will fit all the accessories and a 230g fuel canister inside. Saves some space. Used it once so far with no issues. It easily cooked two packages of ramen at once. Boiled super fast. Was going to just buy a jetboil but I figured Id give this a try. Im satisfied with it so far. Have a little fry pan Im going to use one the burner with the included attachment. If it last, its a great value. Everything pictured fits comfortably inside the larger version offered.

Six cups of water from 50F to boiling in a little over 6 minutes at a lower setting running off a 1lb propane tank. Igniter works perfectly. Fuel valve is smooth and offers plenty of adjustability. Though the closed position is not where the valve wants to sit for storing. Just need to make sure you close it when setting it up. Set up is a breeze with plenty of room to store a fuel canister inside the pot. The pot mounts secure enough you can lift the whole thing by the pot handle but is not a tight enough to feel secure carrying it around like that. It is plenty stable when sitting on a flat surface. Handle is stout and locks securely in place. Heat dissipation on the rest of the pot is good. I could touch the bottom lip in less than a minute of pulling it off the burner. Neoprene cozy makes a fantastic hand warmer and the lose thread handing off the bottom didn't melt so the heat flutes work great at pushing the excess heat away. The only issues I noticed was the bottom flange did have some minor dings and the spot welds on the outside of the pot have some burrs that need to be knocked down.

Used this for a campout where we hiked a few miles to the site so we took what we could carry. We mostly used the fire pit but this worked great for the coffee pot, etc. No problems with setup or balance.

Easily portable, well made, and easy to set up in a matter of seconds for when your on the trail or on the river fishing for the night! Love this product and will definitely be using alot

My kids are not very adventurous. I have a huge yard since my property used to be a farm, so they just go out somewhere in the yard and set up a tent. I messed around with this for a bit, and it seemed fairly difficult to hurt yourself, so I let them take it on one of their "camping trips". They have been using it to boil water to make ramen. They have had no problems with that, and they say it lights up extremely easily.The 1.8L version is a bit bulky and heavy. I don't know if I'd take it backpacking, but it would be fantastic if you do roof camping. In other words, you'll just be tossing this in the back of your SUV. It's built very well. It holds quite a bit. It heats up very fast. It's also quite safe to use, unless you really try to hurt yourself. It's definitely good for that kind of camping.

This camping stove is amazing, as it works extremely well in heating up my food, and it has a very large capacity. I love how it packs up in a small little package.

I have to admit that I'm a little conflicted. This is a really amazing stove. It is designed for heating efficiency and will boil water very quickly. You pay for this efficiency with a little more bulk and weight.The stove is really a joy to use. In contrast to the ultralight stoves it is a lot more stable and with the pot integrated into the burner, it is very stable. Much less concerned about balancing everything perfectly to avoid spilling.I like the neoprene cover that provides both insulations to keep the pot warmer longer and less worry about burned fingers.I really like the way the handle locks in place to provide a split lifting point and I also like how it folds over to hold the lid on.I'll definitely be bringing this stove on backpacking trips where there are multiple people to balance the weight but I might still go with the ultralight one on solo trips.Overall very happy with the "ATEPA Portable Backpacking Stove 0.9L/1.8L Lightweight Camping Stove Camp Gas Stoves for Outdoor Hiking Hunting Fishing".

Great little boiler/stove.Comes with base,pot holder ring and stuff sack.It DOES WORK with Coleman butane canisters and the 100 gram canister WILL nest inside with the rest of the parts.It fires up with one press of the igniter and can be adjusted to a very low simmer!!! It will boil/cook your meal in a flash. I bought mine on sale for $37 but I would have paid more.Go for it !!

I received the 900mL size version of the Atepa TREKKER stove kit. The stove comes in a draw string bag with 1 page set of instructions. Tucked away inside the main pot was the stove, a triangle plastic stabilizer that fits on the bottom of the fuel can, and a metal plate used when cooking with other pots or pans. A plastic lid with holes on one side and a slot on the other let you pour out water with the lid in place.It was easily to thread the stove onto a typical MSR fuel canister. The field valve is easy to turn and the piezo element lighted off the gas. I was surprised to see the piezo element is right in the flame path so gets red hot when the stove is in use. I dont know what its made of but worry it might wear out prematurely.The pot has has handles that swivel out into place. It is wrapped in a neoprene sleeve which keeps in the warmth but also protects you from burning yourself. I really like that inside the pot are indented markings for liquids measurement in both cups and mL. Three marks each for 1,2,3 cups and 250,500,750 mL. This is a nice feature since the dehydrated meals directions will tell you cups or mL, but not both, leaving you to do some math.I put in 2 cups of water and it took exactly 2 minutes to boil at an elevation of roughly 1500 MSL.The only downside is the pot has the same diameter as the fuel can so you cant place the fuel can inside the pot to save space. The extra metal piece locks on to the burner top and four arms swivel outwards to give you a more stable platform when using other pots or pans.It is slightly heavier than more popular name brands but is sturdy and feel it is robust to last for years of camping trips.

I was impressed with this stove. This a great little backpacking stove. I got the 1.8L size and it works great for meal prep. I was able to boil (light boil) just a little over a litter of water in 4 minutes and a rolling boil in just over 5 minutes. If I'm not mistaken the industry leader in these little stoves takes just over 3 minute to boil 1L of water so this guy here isn't too shabby.I like the electronic igniter, I would have one of these stoves without it. An since I got the 1.8L version, a 8oz fuel canister will nest along with the stove inside of the pot with enough room for a windscreen around them. I believe that if you get the small version it will nest only a 4oz canister.The value in this is incredible. This one was 1/3 the cost of what those other brands run. So you are getting a heck of a deal.
