BULIN Hard Anodized Aluminum Camping Kettle 1.6L and 2.2L

It boiled the same amount of water in the same amount of time as my larger $9 camp kettle from the store so if you have the space--- I needed a smaller one due to space requirement this time so kept it or would not have. It got a 5 star because it does and is what it says and I knew the price and knew I needed this size but in the future I will find a diff price/brand

Bought this for the camper, to use with a pour over to make coffee. Quality product and just the right size. I have used this for the last 8 days in the mountains while camping, and have loved it. Easy to clean, easy to store and comfortable to use.

Boils a liter of water faster than I can get the French press ready before having coffee … ?

I have gone through many cast iron evaporators which I use to increase the relative humidity. Even the enamel coated ones rust out eventually. And they are heavy! I bought this for use on my stove and it works great! 1) it is lighter full than the cast iron is empty. 2) it won’t rust out. 3) Because the bottom is thin, it transmits more heat to the water and evaporates much more water. 4) Being the same color as my wood stove, it does not look out of place. I use to get static electric shocks all winter, but now I get none.

used my Trangia alcohol stove at 1 inch below pot took less than 5 minutes to boil 1 1/2 cups of cold tap water. Using a small stainless pot, took 8 to 9 minutes to boil the same amount.

Love it work great for living on the go. The pot itself would get to hot when ur done cook and ready to eat out of it.Works very well.love it will buy another when I need another one.

I ordered it and liked it but it’s too big for one person and the weight is a factor for backpacking gear. I returned mine. And got a much lighter model. If you’re backpacking with a group it would be good. Or if your car camping it would be fine. That’s my opinion.

I use this for camping. I place it right onto the grill surface and it works great. The body hasn’t shown any wear and tear from being in fire and it boils water as advertised. I highly recommend this.

Fits like a glove on the heat spreader plate for the Magma Party XL grill. Boils water faster than regular kettles.

I do very remote trips and this is exactly what I needed. Very lightweight and sturdy. I have been looking for something like this for years!

This is an excellent product the convolutions on the bottom of the kettle allow it to heat up really fast thus saving fuel well built and an excellent value for the price

Great pot for my needs, boiling water quick used it for coffee ??, tea ?, oatmeal ?.? Planning to purchase 2.1 Litres ?

4 cups of 70F water to boiling in just over 35 mins on an InstantFire 6hr heat can at 400 ft amsl. It almost boiled 4 cups of water in the time my previous pot boiled 2 cups on the same heat source. I bought it for the larger size and the heat exchange was a big bonus.

Love it! Super lightweight but sturdy. Perfect for boiling water for coffee in the morning and pours perfectly.

Clever design with small spill proof spout. Packs down small and while it isn't a super fast boiler it does improve the boil time on a LPG burner

It is lightweight and looked fine. The handle locks which is a bonus. I ended up returning it for a set up that included a compatible stove, but this would work well for someone who already has a stove component.

I use this little kettle for solo car-camping. I use it with a propane canister equipped with a single burner screw-on. It boils water quite fast, cools-down quickly, and tightly stows-away in its mesh bag. Solid item. Good purchase.

Used this over Memory Day 2023. I was very pleased with its heating qualities and the way the handle remained cool. It fits wonderfully into our packing setup. So happy with our selection.

Good product, significantly shorter boiling time.The top of the pot could have been better attached and the handle isn't stable enough when filling the pot all the way up, but overall - it gets the job done.

I really like this, but it does not have fill lines which would be nice.

This lightweight kettle suits my backcountry needs to the letter.

For a practical use and safe pour, this kettle holds 1.2L at most. 1.6L would fill it to the top and will cause water to overflow while pouring it. Smaller than I expected. Heat exchanger works. Handle does not get hot. Durability remains to be seen. Boil it couple of times before using to remove smell.

Excellent match for Bulin gas burner.Water boils around 2 minutes.Large capacity then my other bagpacking Stanley cup/container, yet ligth. It fits gas can and Bulin burner inside.Handle wont' get hot, so no burning hands.Would like to see titanium version in the future....

It boils water feast over a butane burner

I bought this kettle for a multi-purpose kettle (i.e. boiling/simmering water for coffee, tea, food etc.). Holds 1.6 liters, right to the top. I filled using 3 500 ml (16.9 oz) bottles. Boil time over an isobutane Soto Windmaster at 1130’ feet (MSL) was 2:32. Pretty quick! 1 liter of water boiled at 1:28 in a no wind environment. Pretty stoked with the pot and heat exchanger/wind blocker. Worth the money, I would totally purchase again, as we are car campers (local overlanders ??) and day hikers for the most part. Probably a little bulky and heavy for an ultralight situation at 280 grams empty.Overall, great piece of kit and we’d buy it again.

Stovetop or campfire, this kettle will serve you well. Make sure you keep the handle up when heating it so you don't melt the plastic round the handle.
