KingCamp Mat Cover Cot Pad for Camping

On the trip I took with my Kingcamp mattress, I slipped the mattress inside a zip-up sleeping bag liner. It was the best way I had to keep the mattress clean. I certainly don't want to figure out how to wash/clean the mattress itself. Getting the Kingcamp cover for the mattress seemed an obviously good idea.The cover is ok, but the sheet material is just very thin. It's certainly a few steps below the quality of the mattress itself. Fortunately, the quilting (only on the top side of the cover) mostly makes up for the thin fabric. When pulling cord, to snug the cover around the mattress, I feel the need to be gentle and not pull it too tight out of fear of ripping the fabric. It fits ok, but I can't get it to look nearly as "fitted" as the one shown in the description. I guess I'm more interested in just keeping the mattress clean, and the cover should do that well enough.

But, it is! I got this pad to not only used camping, but to use on my mom's old couch. When I stay at her house, I usually sleep in a recliner. But, on occasion, I have the need to stretch out. Her couch looks comfy, but it is deceiving. It has a hard place that is right where my hips and back are and can be really painful. Imhave a camping pad that is thin, but you still have to blow it up, it slowly leaks out over the night. I can't find a leak and it makes noises when I move around. This pad is thin, but feels really nice. I wouldn't have thought it would be enough cushion for me to sleep comfy on mom's couch, but it is. I am amazed at how comfortable. I even have mom using it when she lays on the couch to watch TV. I can't wait to try it out camping. It is very long, so it was more than enough to cover mom's couch, end to end. It comes with it's own sack to store it in. I wasn't sure it would go back in the sack, but it does.

It is like a thin comforter, with about the same amount of cushion. It comes in a nice bag but I don't think I could ever smash it enough to get it back inside the bag. It is lightweight and would work as a blanket also. It has four corner straps and it does fit nicely on my cot. With the webbing of the cot I don't need much cushion so this is perfect. If you are looking for a pad to provide cushion, this will not provide much.

I purchased it for my recliner. It was not as long as described. Still usable but doesn't go under feet. It is comfortable!!!! Great purchade.

My family has started using our tent more and going camping on a regular basis, so I was wanting something that would be easy to pack up and not take a lot of space, as well as make sleeping on the ground more comfortable. This cot pad is comfortable and lightweight. Portable. Much better than sleeping on the ground!

This is a nice product to put on top of a cot. It fits well. I like the straps on it to hold it in place. It doesn't add a lot in terms of being "thick" but it definitely makes it softer. It's nice that it's easily washable if it gets dirty. It's not the best quality in the world, but it's good quality for the price. You can sleep on this by itself if you had to, but I still prefer a sleeping pad in addition to this as a side sleeper. I don't have much negatives about this. I think it's a good product.

I do a lot of camping with the Scouts, and whenever we do a campout that is closer to our cars, I break out the nice air mattress.Here's the thing: The sleeping bag more often than not would slide right off the mattress, and I have woken up many times on the floor of the tent. There is barely any friction there.Enter the mattress cover. Oh boy, this thing really helped. I didn't slide off at all. Fantastic function.It packs up pretty small in its own storage bag, which is fantastic. easy to just throw in the box with the rest of my gear.Overall value, at $30: it is 100% worth it to me! It helped make my sleep in the tent (at 30 F) very comfortable. I have seen it on sale for lower though, if you're patient.

This will be super handy to hold my mattress on my cot! I wrapped it on the cot without the mattress, and it really hugs it nicely. The cinch will hold it tight.The green color isn't appealing to me, but I can overlook it for long enough to cover it with my bedding! :-)

This mat isn't substantially thick, but will add a little comfort and insulation to your sleep setup. It's plenty long but still packs up easily.

My husband’s big complaints with his camping cot is that he gets a draft from underneath that keeps him chilled at night and that it’s not very comfortable. This cot pad takes care of both problems. Just enough padding to get a good night’s sleep but not so much to make the pad bulky. The pad is very lightweight and the bag it comes in has a handle that helps to pull the pad out of the bag or to carry it. It doesn’t take up too much room in our camping gear. The elastic straps at the corners fit my husband’s cot.Good value and for us-a necessity for a good night’s sleep while camping.

I have to admit that I was quite skeptical of the quality and the usefulness of this cot. However, my initial impression is quite positive. The legs seem well made and sturdy. There did seem to be some blemishes on the finish, but that seems acceptable due to the nature of how this cot is packed.I purchased this cot specifically to take with me on a scout trip with our family where space, bags, and power availability are limited for an overnight activity. This hit the mark with packability and not needing power unlike a typical air mattress.This cot actually sparked my interest to go camping again. I’ve never like air mattresses and I also don’t like sleeping on the ground (even with a mat), so I could very easily see myself using this in the great outdoors.I cannot comment on durability, because I have not put it through the wringer yet, but it seems that with care, this cot should last.

I got this for my air mattress that I use when camping it’s always been a pain laying on it without any covering. It’s made of lightweight material that is easy to carry and put away.No, I don’t have to carry an old bed sheet with me!

This is a bit thinner than I was hopping for, but it still feels okay. Great for camping or even laying down onto the floor of the back of my van for long trips.

This camping mat is a great topper for a ground pad. The best part is the bottom side is non-slip, and has elastic bands on the corners to wrap around the pad. Making it an extension of your sleeping gear. This is great for those traveling specifically with a ground pad and needing an extra layer. This is not for a cot because it’s not wide enough for one.

This pad isn’t overly thick but perfect for under a sleeping bag. I put it on top of an air mattress and under a blanket. Made a comfy bed!

This beats sleeping on the hard ground every time. Makes a huge difference to just have a pad under you. You won’t wake up achy and you won’t be begging for the sun to come up so you can finally get out of the tent and stretch. Worth every penny!

Rolls up small for packing but has very little padding. Listing said almost 2” thickness. Somebody’s exaggerating a bit. Would not work as a ground pad on its own. Works nice as a topper for a mattress or something else that actually give you some cushion, but not great on its own.

Just needed some extra padding for my sleeping bag and this came in handy. Not too much, perfect size and very portable. For what it is, its a great deal.

Several months ago I purchased on Amazon a sleeping cot that was okay as far as comfort because you slept on it like any other cot, i.e. canvas material. I was trying to find something that would increase the comfort for my friends and relatives who would visit. This will do the trick. It is now very comfortable to sleep on. The pad feels more like a bed comforter. This will come in handy when going camping as well.

it fits my acadamy sp*rt5 cot perfectly. it does not slip and the sleep side has a comfy cotton feel to it.

really like that this is light weight very easy to put away and store away.comfort wise its good obviously not as good as it would be with a normal mattress but its better than the floor

Super light, packs down to practically nothing. Takes up much less space than a traditional rolled-foam pad. It might not keep you from feeling an individual rock as well as a foam pad would, but hey, move the rock and this thing is way more comfy than an old-school pad.

A little thin but it DOES fit in the washer easily!
