These are nice solar shower bags. They seem to be durable enough to hold up. I love the fact that the shower head is easy to use and to stop the water flow. Keep in mind when hanging them, just how heavy water really is!

Nothing ends a day like a nice warm(hot) shower. In a camping situation this is not always an option. Sometimes a cold shower is the best some can hope for. This can be filled at the start of the day left out in the sun and by the time it is near bedtime have a nice rinse off or a brief shower. 5 gallons is certainly enough to accomplish an adequate shower. In a grid down circumstance where there is no hot water this can be a life savor and a morale booster. Some may even argue that in a bad situation cleanliness is next to impossible. This definitely solves that problem. When not in use it breaks down to a nice small footprint that is light and easy to carry.

This is a nice little camping accessory for those who don't like using public showers provided on campgrounds. Heats up the water when you leave it out in the sun, which is great if you don't want an ice cold bath. I only tested it on room-temperature water, but it still worked well.

Overall these are much better than other ones out there. The “kitchen sprayer” style nozzle is a huge upgrade from the typical twist type they usually have, though you may need to use a needle to make the holes more round.The bags feel durable and well made and the fill hole is the size of a camelback water bladder. My only two gripes I are the ring handle around the fill hole is not very sturdy and comes off too easily, the other is the screw in cap can be finicky to reinstall which usually results in spilled water.Beyond using this for a shower, another use is for washing dishes. We usually set up a wash station with one of these for easier cleanup.These are well made and worth getting.

This solar camping shower bag is great! It is made of heavy duty material and has held up well. It works with the sun to warm up the water, and it has a built in thermometer on the body of the bag to let you know when it’s warm. The hook is sturdy and holds on well when being used. The hose and sprayer are detachable for easy cleaning, and the pressure of the shower water is perfect. My favorite part of this shower bag is…no more cold showers while camping! You will not be disappointed with this solar shower bag.

This camp shower is great! It has a strong handle with a durable strap. The part where you fill it up is big and screws on, so it doesn't leak like plugs on other showers. It has a pocket to hold soap, which is super convenient! I also like that it's not shaped like a rectangle, so water doesn't get stuck in the corners. The shower nozzle has a trigger that you can lock open and the bag is made of black nylon. Overall, it's a really good shower that it a great price!

Very nice quality bag. You can just about put it anywhere and hang from a tree or any RV easy to use. Has great water flow. Nice and convenient for camping or traveling. Good product.

I love that this pack came with 2. In the past I’ve only had one camp shower and with how long it takes water to warm up, it’s always nice to have a backup warming up. The capacity is huge. The nozzle is great. The quality is nice. Great addition to the campsite.

I’ve camped all my life. I’ve had and used many of these over the years. Thought I haven’t gotten to use this out in the wild yet, this shower from KingCamp seems to be one of best ones I’ve owned - there are improvements over literally every other bag I’ve ever had in many areas:- the PVC handle has a very solid nylon-webbing strap run through it with a nice grip and a quick release in-line buckle that is so much easier to deal with than the rope I had been using with my previous bag.- the fill opening is a wide-mouth screw cap instead of the small push to close plug literally every other shower bag I’ve ever had used. It doesn’t leak like the plug-type will once they get older and slightly deformed. You don’t loose half your water just trying to close it. I’m with the other reviewer on gluing the retaining ring in though - I can’t imagine a scenario where I want to remove the whole closure assembly, and it comes off a little too easily for my liking - really my only negative.- I like the overall form factor better than the usual rectangle - no corners for water to get trapped in.- The mesh pouch for soap or whatever - it’s a nice little touch that makes a big difference.- Multi purpose d-rings and Velcro straps at the bottom corners instead of a plastic clip for your hose that really doesn’t work all that well and isn’t multi-functional in any way.- The shower nozzle itself is much better than the pull-to-open on/off only type on most others. They’re easy to open but harder close one-handed. This trigger style is much easier and can also be locked open.- The black nylon material the outer surface of the bag is much nicer than the normal plastic or rubber we’ve all come to know and love to hate.- The small dry-bag included for storage - this is another nice touch that also helps protect your gear in storage.If I could give ? stars, this would be a sold 4.5 for me. The ring on the fill cap is the only deduction. These are worth the asking price and I’d happily recommend them.

Our Nevada winters, in Jan, average about 45 to 50 degrees during the day with bright sunshine. I wanted to see if these camp showers were viable at this time of year with the air tempos being cool.This solar shower did a good job of heating our cold, mountain spring fed water up to almost 95 degrees in 7 hours in full sunlight. I have no doubt that in the spring and summer the water temp could be well over 100.So these camp showers work well, are easy to hang, and if you are a pressure junkie, can easily be extended with additional hoses to allow you to place the bag up high on the top of an extension post in order to allow gravity to increase pressure.Both showers are well made, did not leak and were easy to fill.Make sure you clean out the bags after every few showers if you have very hard water in order to keep the valves and opening from becoming blocked.5 stars. This solar bag is super well thought out. It's black, so it can warm up in the sun. It can hold a lot of water, and it doesn't leak. I am very impressed by this bag and the logical design of it.

This is such a versatile camp shower. I love the old school kitchen sprayer style on the hose. It's so easy to use. The material is durable and good looking. I can lift this even while it's full I. I use this as a foot washing station, bidet and to water plants. I am so happy that it was a double pack. Even with having 2 of these, I'm going to get more.

This is amazing for camping keeps the water warm to use for cleaning yourself or dishes! Well made sturdy handle for hanging and good flow waterspout to rinse anything you want good value for the price when I received it.

I have two more showers like this (that both leak now hence the replacement), one was a Coleman and one was a generic Coleman. In comparison this one has a better valve and seems better thought through overall. I like the kind of 'standard' Camelback style fill mechanism, though I should note that the ring the lid attaches to does come off if you give it a quarter twist. This was a problem as I was putting the cap back on because I kept getting the lid ring twisted and then it would fall off. It was fiddley to get it the cap to thread back on properly and not twist the lid ring entirely off in the process. I'm thinking about just epoxying it in place, because I actually can't quite figure out why I'd want to take off the lid ring at all.The activation valve on this is better than the Coleman/generic one I had because this one does both momentary activation AND 'lock' on modes, while the Coleman style is either on or off. Valve on this one seems solid. The hose on this thing IS way too long though, but that's easily fixed. I'll probably trim it down to a foot or so in length, I can't see a need for it to be longer than that. I whould mention that if you use the velcro straps to hold the tube so you can shower you get kind of terrible pressure. Needs to be a lot lower than the filled bag to get a decent stream going.The temperature thermometer on the bag seems pretty poor. Looking at it I can't tell what temp the water actually IS as a bunch of numbers seem to be glowing. Which one is the actual temp? No clue, I figure if any of them are lit up the temp is just 'warm' and that's all I need to know.Also, this shower comes with a small drybag that the shower folds up and stores in. Not totally necessary from what I can tell but a nice touch. The shower actually DOES go back into the bag pretty easily as well, it's not a game of Tetris trying to cram it in.All in all I think I'd buy this over the Coleman version.

I set this up to try it out in my backyard because I won't be going camping until the summer. I was excited at the prospect of being able to wash my hair and freshen up a bit with solar heated warm water. The temperature outside today is about 50 degrees. I hung this up on the fence in the direct sun hoping to find an increase in temperature similar to that described. I filled it with tap water that I measured at 64 degrees. After 2 hours in the sun I went and dispensed water from the spray head and took the temperature. It had only increased 6 degrees. The water was a tepid 70 degrees. I am not sure about the claim that it can heat water to 113 in 3 hours. I think that may be dependent on the season and ambient temperature. My overall impression is that this was made of good quality materials, was easy to set up, and also easy to use. The plug came out easily, it was simple to fill with water and close back up. I also had an easy time hanging it and the spray head worked really well. I anticipate this will work nicely for summer camping but I'll need to heat water over the fire in the colder seasons.

This is a great 2 pack of king camp solar showers. They remind me of camelback bags but with a sprayer nozzle attachment and hose. The black bag and carry case are water proof. We can’t wait to start using these.

Ah, warm showers!I travel each year by bicycle — mostly in North America — and am often hosted along my routes by members of Warm Showers, an international association of bike tourists who host other bike tourists. Why that name? Because warm showers are the best after a long day of journeying far on a bike. You know that road grime that coats your car? Yep, it gets all over cyclists, too.Another challenge of bike travel is that motels are spaced for those traveling by automobile, not bicycles. Warm Showers hosts fill in some of those blank spaces, but the reality of my bike journeys is that I’m forced to camp two nights of three — sometimes in developed campgrounds with showers, but too often at undeveloped sites sans such niceties.So I searched for a solution that was lightweight enough to add to my bike’s payload.Water from a creek, river, or lake works, if a cleaner source isn’t available. I reason that, if it’s clean enough for me to swim in, it’s clean enough for me to shower in, too. Maybe the soap cleans the water as well as me?All else I need is a tree limb from which to hang the bag and sunlight to warm it. How long does that take? Not as long as I thought before trying it. It’s winter as I write this, yet the water got warm-shower warm in a few hours, despite an afternoon ambient temperature in the mid-40s. Powerful stuff, sunlight.And that doesn’t mean I have to wait those few hours. I can strap this shower bag, black side up, to my bike’s rear rack while pedaling, and Sol will take it from there. When I arrive at my destination, I’ve a warn — maybe even hot — shower ready to go.Speaking of hot, there’s a thermometer strip on the outside of the bag. I can’t attest to its accuracy, because I don’t carry another thermometer against which to compare. But I consider the integrated thermometer overkill. My hand knows when the water is warm enough and my finger tips safely detect when it’s too hot for the rest of me. Which does happen, so it was thoughtful of the designers to add the thermometer.And I don’t fill the bag to its full 5-gallon capacity. I.5 to 2 gallons are enough for a shower, if I wet and rinse judiciously.When there are no trees about, I hold the bag over my head, which not only gets me clean, but is great exercise too, water being heavy stuff.In case you’re wondering, no, I don’t shower outdoors wearing only my birthday suit. I wear the same baggy trunks I swim in and just kind of work around them. And I wear Crocs to keep my wet feet from picking up dirt while showering. When I’m done, I rinse then dry the Crocs, one at a time, while hopping on the other foot during the process.And, no, it’s not dancing if there’s no music.Anyway, I manage to get clean. There are no photos of me using this product, though. There are some things you can’t unsee, no matter how much you want to, and that would be one of them. I’m sorry about any unfortunate mental images this review may have inspired, though.Does this shower system work? Yes. Indeed, it works better than I expected.How does it compare to similar systems? I don’t know, I haven’t tested any others, but I’m thankful to have this one and am not looking to replace it.How long will it last? It seems as durable as the water bladder I also carry. My guess is, I’ll get years of use from this shower bag.Oh, and it shipped with a custom dry bag, which I initially thought funny. I mean, why would I want to keep my shower bag dry, right? But when it came time to stow the wet shower bag amid my dry gear … yeah, the dry bag protects what’s outside from what’s in it. Someone knew what they were doing when they designed this system.For reference, when in its dry bag, this system measures a compact 12 by 7 by 2 inches, so yeah, it’s imminently packable.Hope this helps. It holds a lot of water and heats up well. It wasn’t very warm on the day I used it and it still got really warm after several hours. On a warm day I’m sure it would get hot much faster but I was still very pleased. The water flow was good and I would recommend

Perfect shower in a bag for car camping! This is based on a hydration bladder used for just carrying water, so this a cool idea using it for a shower. Easy to put together. Hydration mouth was upside down when I opened the bag, I fixed that quick so it could be hung up from there or the carry handle. The little thermo strip on it to tell how warm the water is -that is a cool idea. Bag is black so you can hang it in the sun and heat it up. I'm going to use this car camping this summer.
