The KingCamp 2 Burner Camping Stove is a fantastic piece of gear for any avid backcountry hiker who loves a serious cooking setup once they hit camp. At 20,000 BTUs combined, it delivers powerful, consistent heat that makes outdoor meal prep feel almost like cooking at home, even in remote locations. The dual adjustable burners give you great control over the flame, allowing you to simmer one dish while bringing another to a rapid boil—a luxury you don’t often get on typical lightweight backpacking stoves.

The portability is another huge win. Despite having two burners, the stove folds down compactly and is easy to pack or stash in the back of a vehicle, and it’s light enough to carry a short distance into a basecamp. The built-in piezo ignition is incredibly convenient too; no more fumbling for matches or lighters, especially when your hands are cold or the wind picks up. It’s also built solidly enough to handle uneven surfaces and heavier pots or pans without wobbling or feeling unstable.

For hikers who enjoy setting up a more comfortable camp after a long trek or even for those who go on extended car-camping trips with short hike-ins, the KingCamp 2 Burner offers an unbeatable balance of power, convenience, and portability. It’s an excellent companion for backcountry adventures where good food is part of the reward.

My review comes from the perspective of someone who has always used the style of 2-burner camp stove which doesn't fold up. Our old stove's design has it standing up on feet that lift it up off the table at least six inches. I'd used that type for a very long time but as it was wearing out, I decided to see what else was available as over the years I became dissatisfied with several of its features. I chose this nice looking camp stove because I am familiar with the KingCamp brand and the other items I own of theirs are very well made and highly functional, so I expected no less from this camp stove.

This camp stove has a lot going for it. Firstly, it uses a single fuel tank to drive both burners. This saves me time, plus at the end of a weekend I don't have two bottles of fuel which are both partially empty. Instead, I go through them one at a time which I prefer as it makes restocking my kit for the next trip easier. Speaking of fuel, please note that I am using an adapter to convert the fuel supply line's fitting to the type of fitting that the green, 1lb propane tanks that I already had on hand require. That adapter is not included, but they are readily available here on Amazon. Just search for 'EN417 Lindal Valve' and you'll get several options to pick from. Of course if you're just starting out it's easiest to just order the right fuel canisters instead of what I did.

In terms of setup, it is super easy. The camp stove has a clip holding the two halves together for storage. After that it's as simple as unfolding it and attaching the provided fuel line to the brass fitting on the camp stove. Note that on the unit I received, I almost can't get the aluminum collar to thread onto the brass valve due to how things are lined up on my unit. It sure does look like they intended for that not to happen, but it did on mine so that's the only reason I didn't rate this as five stars. Once you have the hose screwed on tight, you set it flat on the table and get the heavy iron grates where they belong and that's it, you're ready to cook. The built in lighter worked really easy too, and these burners really have a strong burn. The only feature this doesn't include is any type of windscreen. I will be deciding between ordering one here on Amazon or making up something myself. On a smaller tabletop, the windscreen also doubles as a spatter guard to keep the rest of your table clean while, e.g. frying up a bunch of bacon. It also didn't come with a carrying case, but as the outside is solid metal it really doesn't need one. Overall, we're very happy with this camp stove and we expect it to work for many years.

I love KingCamp stuff! It all just works! This was no different. With two burners this helps me make short order of breakfast. I love cooking with cast iron and these heat up the cast iron quickly and I don't have to wait too long for it to happen either. Then when I'm all done these are so quick to hose off wipe down and fold up and put away for next time.

So far we've only used them in in back yard as testing before we go camping. Can't wait!

This is a great little, portable stove that you might want for a few days of backpacking or maybe a power outage. Like most gas powered stoves, it lights quickly, and the flame is adjustable. Contrary to what the advertising says, this does not work on propane. The valve is different. I really don't use anything other than propane, so this is kind of annoying.
