BULIN Burner Backpacking Stove

This compact stove/pot combo comes without instructions, but a quick look at the product listing's video answered my main question, how to unwind and attach the fuel line to the compact propane canister that I already had on hand.Set up was quick and simple, the included light weight pot holds up to 56 ounces. I test-boiled a quart of water, took less than 3 minutes.The Pot is about 6" high with 5.5" diameter. The fold-out rubber covered metal handle extends out to 5.5", when folded back up it secures the lid to the pot. The pot handle remained stable when pouring out the quart of hot water. On top of the pot's lid is a handy rubber coated lifting ring.The stove has 3 fold out supports to provide a just over 8" diameter stable base. A steel braided fuel line extends 17" to your propane canister.A handy compact push button sparker/lighter comes included to ignite the stove. It's a nice little bonus, should work well even in a breeze.Flame height is controlled by a small knob located on the end of the fuel line where it attaches to the fuel canister.Also included are a compact sponge a storage sack for the stove and another storage sack for the pot.Everything packs easily into the pot, weighing in at 27 ounces.After packing it away, I opened it back up and was able to repack it with a small propane canister packed inside.Give it a good rinse before using, had a musty smell on arrival. Look forward to using it at camp, will work for minimalist car camping and backpacking.

This stove is T4-A, however, its original design, Bulin T4, is a multi-fuel stove. They share almost exact characteristics with only small differences. They removed some fuel jets that used to be gasoline or kerosene, and also uses standard o-ring rather than multi-fuel o-ring. Others, on the other hand, remains the same.(Considering that it only costs $40 this is reasonable.)This provides us the ability to modify this stove to burn gasoline or even ethanol. By manually replacing fuel jets or modify air intake (and a pump & fuel bottle from aliexpress), it can burn almost any fuel. In the picture I successfully modded it to burn ethanol, or E85 gas.

Der Campingkocher ist super. Sehr robust serhrgut verarbeitet. Es gibt keine scharfen Kanten. Die E-Zündung funktionierte jedesmal wenn ich den Kocher benutzt habe. Ich war mit dem Kocher zwei Wochen am Mittelmeer Zelten. Er hat auch bei stürmigem Wetter sehr gut funktioniert. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. ??

This stove is actually ridiculously powerful. I have used it with generic coleman propane canisters (you will need EN417 Lindal Valve adapter purchased separately - don't get the cheapest ones though) and pretty much kept it on minimum flames to cook some stakes and fried fish.I estimate that I probably was cooking on 1/10th or 1/15th of the potential output. Plenty powerful for most if not all cooking needs for its size. The stove is also sturdily built but could be an overkill for most needs.Flames were pretty much at the minimum setting on the photo. I did not even try the max setting as it sounds like a jet engine once you open it up.

Very compact. Excellent construction. Lit up fast and powerful. The knob to turn up/down heat worked well and was quite responsive to small movements. Definitely recommend a Wind screen. I liked the wide cooking pot surface the 3 metal supports give. Held an 8 inch pot just fine. Got 16 ozs boiling water in about 4 mins at 6000 ft. My only concern is the fuel hose connection --it gets pulled to one side fairly acutely when packing the stove back up, hope it doesn't develop a leak there
