Very light and feels comfy, of course not better than a real mattress, but it do what needs. There is no air leak over night. Good for camping!

I used this inflatable mattress in the back of a truck bed with a mattress topper and it worked great. You will need a hand or electric air pump to fill as the holes are pretty large. The sloped edge and ribbed design makes for a comfortable base for camping and makes it very sturdy. Packs away very small and fits nicely in the provided bag.

I was specifically looking for a camping pad with no pillow or pump built-in. I prefer a separate pillow, and since we’ll bring a pump for other gear anyway, why add that bulk to my pad?It was a little frustrating that I came across several other pads with those built-ins, which were $30-40 less. Both of my fellow campers opted for the less expensive versions, and I think it's worth noting that I was the only one who needed to add air to my pad midway through the trip. My pad was easier to break down and packed down smaller, so I guess it’s a trade-off. For added insulation, I used this on top of a Thermarest foam mat. In retrospect, a combined foam/inflatable camping pad would have cost less, provided a better r-value, and been much quieter - this feels like a pool float in the way it squeaks with your every move and shift, which gets old fast in the tight, shared quarters of a tent. Live and learn.

Not much more to say about it - it feels like that perfect amount of thickness to negate rough, hard terrain below us without sacrificing portability. The design feels sturdy and reliable for years to come, and I really appreciate the gentle bowing of each side, making this a pretty fantastic 2-person sleeping mat.My only nitpick is that there isn't a mechanism for self-inflating, but it would add unnecessary bulk and this inflates fast enough AND without losing air over the span of a few nights. I never once topped it off.So, yeah, easy 5 stars for budget-conscious campers who want awesome gear.

This is a great quality inflatable sleeping pad. It is made with very thick material. I used this on top of my cot and it was the perfect fit. It is so comfortable to sleep on. Its easy to inflate and deflate. Its nice and lightweight so it doesn't add much weight to my pack. Very pleased.

Took this camping my 10 year old slept all night, she said it was super comfortable and didn’t make a ton of noise if she moved. Easy to blow up and take the air out and pack away!

We bought this as an addition to an air mattress and works great! Does the job to help with the bed and keeping it more comfortable!

We went tent camping ans brought this along knowing we'd need some sort of support. This was easy to setup and although it wasn't like a bed at the Ritz, but it did make things comfortable

This kingcamp double air mattress for camping is amazing!! The feels absolutely amazing, it resembles a real mattress. The padding and cushion is super soft and not hard at all. It’s super light weight and you can take it easily on travels/camping. It’s also super easy to store. It’s super simple to inflate and deflate. This mattress is super comfortable and spacious/big. Overall I really like this product and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in this product!!

Camping is awesome, sleeping on the ground isn't always so awesome. King Camp has a great line of products and this is just another one of the quality picks. Really easy to inflate and deflate, fits back in the travel bag, isn't too bulky to travel with and is very comfortable. I really couldn't ask for more from this sleeping pad.

This is well made. I feel like it won’t pop easily compared to other brands and doesn’t sound “crunchy” when you lay on it. It’s rounded so you stay in the middle when you lay on it and won’t roll. It’s perfect for camping trips. I’m taking this with me on a bike trip across the state.

This is a very nice mattress pad. It inflates quickly and easily. It is plenty thick for sleeping on the ground.

When I got this bed, I mistakenly thought that it came with a pump. That was my mistake since it states that no pump is included (in the fine print), but for the price, it seems to me it should have one. My strong preference would have been a foot pump. Hence the 4 stars. That being said, aside from that it does seem to be a good quality and comfortable pad. It also rolls up nicely and easily into a drawstring case.Alll said, I won't be using this for camping like expected because of no integrated pump. I'll be looking for another option.

This is a perfect addition to my glamping gear. It's very well-made of quality materials and packs up neatly and easily. I can't sleep very well on hard surfaces and this mat is decent enough cushion for me to make it through the night on the ground. I got the extra large mat, but it's not large enough to sleep two people.

This mattress is quite comfortable given that only about 4 inches thick. The edges are a bit higher (almost 5.5") to keep you from rolling off. I have the full size version, and it's just big enough for my 6'2" body. My wife and I can both fit on it, but it's a tight squeeze. It rolls down to a small package. It does come with a carrying bag, but I wasn't able to get it to fit back in the bag after using it. Fortunately, it also comes with a pair of elastic straps to keep it from unrolling.There are two valves, but it does not come with a pump. Blowing it up with lung power would be challenging, as the valves are quite large and really meant for use with a pump.The mattress is well made, but I find it quite expensive. At $130 (or $110 with coupon), I would expect this to at least come with a pump.

There's a lot to like about this mattress. For the inflated size, it rolls down rather compact. It's not super heavy like a lot of the vinyl type air mattresses. The valves aren't the easiest to work with, but they do fine and hold air without worry. I use a little flextail gear pump to inflate it and couldn't find an adapter that fit perfectly, so I had to hold it in place the entire time. Not a big deal, but that pump fits every other pad I own.Comfort wise it's a bit of a mixed bag. It's as thick as they claim. Though there is a distinct cradle in the two sleeping positions that thins is out a little bit. The baffles are staggered high and low, which leads to some weird pressure points that can be alleviated by moving up or down the pad an inch. Unfortunately, my wife who has some muscle and joint issues said that there's just no way she could sleep well on it all night long. Whereas It would be just fine for me.

I am reviewing both the single size and double size.First the single: This is a great sleeping pad. It is well worth the money (almost $80 at time of review). It is easy to inflate and is very, very comfortable. The support is outstanding! When laying on it, you don't sink down, the air doesn't move around into other areas of the pad, causing bumps and making it feel like you are in a glove. This feels like a regular mattress. The technology behind this pad is fantastic.The sleeping pad is easy to deflate, rolls up nicely, and fits snuggly in a nylon carrying case. Storage of this sleeping pad is very easy as it doesn't take up a lot of space. Taking it camping is also easy due to the compact size.The sides being a little higher are nice, but I don't think they make a huge difference.The double: Very similar to the single. It is very comfortable, fills up quickly, deflates easily and rolls up nicely. It fits well in the included carrying bag. Two people can comfortably sleep on this double sized pad. It is also a little more expensive than other inflatable mattresses, but it is well worth the money.One thing that makes this sleeping pad so special is how soft and comfortable the top is, while the bottom is very durable. This sleeping pad will not easily get a hole in it when sleeping in a tent on hard ground.Overall, I think both sleeping pads are excellent, and the more KingCamp products I order, the more and more impressed I am with KingCamp products. I highly recommend either pad for any serious camper!

This KingCamp Double Air Mattress is a very nice, large and comfortable air mattress for home, car and tent camping. At 5 lbs., it is lightweight and folds into a relatively compact size; but it is still probably a little heavier and bulkier than I'd want to carry in a backpack. My little battery air pump was able to inflate it quickly and I'm sure doing it by mouth wouldn't be a huge effort.Construction-wise, the most obvious thing is the contour shape which I liked very much. I also like when the air pockets are aligned perpendicular to the direction I'm sleeping. This is just under 4" thick and when inflated properly [and with an extra blanket underneath] you can almost forget you're sleeping on the ground. The fabric is thick and durable, the seams look solid, and I feel like the overall quality is excellent. The valve is adequate, but I personally prefer a screw on rather than a rubber press-on cap. The important thing is that the mattress held air beautifully, and gave a comfortable night's sleep with no noticeable leakage.The double size is more than double the width of my single pad and is very adequate for two people. Deflating was quick but getting it back into the bag took me a few minutes the first time.Overall, I like this mattress very much and hope to use it a lot this summer. At the premium price, I expect it to hold up for a long time to come. If you can catch it on sale or with a good coupon, I think you'll like it too.

This is a good camping pad/air mattress. It's light and portable when deflated. It's easy to inflate and deflate. I haven't tested this enough to comment on its long term durability, but the materials seem decent.This isn't dirt cheap, but it's also cheap compared to some of the higher end pads costing hundreds of dollars. I'd consider this a good quality budget/value option. Much better & more expensive than the super dirt cheap trash, cheaper g& not quite at the same level as the top tier stuff.This is plenty for most purposes except the super hardcore outdoor connoisseur.

Car camping is something I've thought about for a while, considering we have always owned SUV's. This mattress is perfect for that purpose. Nice and thin -- lightweight, yet super comfortable; you can use it to sleep on, and still fit sitting up in your vehicle. Very sturdy -- it didn't lose air/loft overnight. How many air mattresses can say that?? Love the curved edges to keep you enfolded nicely. Folds up nice and tight without occupying a big footprint either in your car or your garage. Easy to inflate and deflate. I highly recommend.

This sleeping pad is not as light as some of the others, but it certainly makes up for it in terms of comfort and ease of use.It is really not that heavy, coming in at 2.2 lbs on my scale. (the product page says 2.0) and you have to add in the weight of a small air pump if you don't want to inflate it by blowing into it. My pump from the picture inflated it fully in about 30 seconds. Alternatively you could carry it in an inflation bag and save some weight. Those bags are very light.It does not provide some of the features seen in other pads, such as a built-in pillow and a self inflating foot pump. Not having the pump allows this to roll up into a smaller package, saving space in your pack, and the built-in pillows have never been satisfying to me as they only raise your head an inch or so, much better to carry an ultralight air pillow or just put your inflation bag inside a t-shirt partially inflated.The soft textured surface on this pad feels nice to the touch, I wouldn't mind at all sleeping on the bare pad without the usual liner, but this shouldnt be an issue for most people using traditional sleeping bags. The other benefit this surface has is that your bag tends to slide around less, so you won't work your way off your pad and onto the ground. To further aid this, it has a slightly concave shape as you can see in one of my pictures as well as on the product page. This also helps to keep you centered on the pad and not slide off.Great pad, strong material, worth the little extra weight, inflates quickly, well-made and reasonably priced. Definite buy.

KingCamp Sleeping Pad is a considered a medium wide. The curved shape of the pad definitely holds my body on the matt versus rolling off either side. When fully inflated, the wave design scalloped/scooped ibeam contours feels odd on my upper back. Pure horizontal or vertical beams feel more natural. But reducing the air volume softens the pad firmness and feels more comfortable on my back or sides.Inflation/deflation is managed with my portable air pump. The valve uses a flap designed butterfly valve that's suitable for fine air adjustments with the quick press of a finger to release air.. The back side is slippery TPU material, while the front side with the KingCamp logo and print design has a suede finish.Overall this pad is comfortable but not as lightweight for backpacking. But it is a good camping pad.

This pad will be primarily for sleeping in my tent or in the vehicle. Though I have a cot, I'm unlikely to use the two together outside of an initial test.On The Cot:My wife, who is only 5'-1", 100lb, found the pad/cot combination very comfortable to nap on. She didn't sleep a full night, but after her nap she felt sleeping a full night wouldn't be a problem. She mostly sleeps on her back, and she likes the "hugging" feeling of the raised sides. With the pad on the cot, the pad naturally sinks a bit in the middle and accentuates the pad's raised sides.I'm 5'11", 180lb. I attempted to sleep a full a full night on the pad/cot, and gave up after about an hour. My reasons, as follows, may not apply to most people. I sleep almost exclusively on my sides, and with a large pillow for my knees (arthritis). Everything about this pad/cot combo, when sleeping on your side, sort of forces you into the middle of the cot. On my side, I typically have my lower leg out straight and "top side" knee angled and resting on the large pillow in front of me - with my hip in the middle of the cot, this pad just doesn't leave enough room for the pillow and it kept falling off the edge. I understand this would not be the situation for most people, but I can't sleep any other way.Generally, I can sleep fine (on my side with the pillow) on a 25" wide pad, on the ground - I've done it many times. I simply slide my backside closer to one edge of the pad to make room for the pillow under my knee. Since this pad/cot combo forces me into the center, it just gives me a less effective width than a typical 25".On The Floor:I also tried the pad directly on the floor, since that is how I'm likely to use it, and found it much more to my liking. The raised sides of the pad don't prevent me from shifting to the side as needed to make adequate room for my "knee pillow". Initially, I find the pad comfortable even with it fully inflated (I normally let some air out). In another week I have an overnight camping trip and intend to use this pad. I'll update the review then.Other Factors:I'm glad the pad does Not have a foot pump. I have a mini-air pump which works perfectly (if loudly) for stuff like this. Once the pump "tops out", an extra 2-3 breaths were all I could put into the pad. The addition of a "pump sack" would have been nice for times when I don't want the noise of the pump.Thanks to KingCamp for NOT adding a pillow to this pad, as so many manufacturers like to do. I much prefer choosing my own pillow.The pad deflates, rolls up nicely, and fits easily into its pouch with some room to spare.The pad's description claims an R-value of 4, but KingCamp does not state it was tested in accordance with ASTM standards - so it wasn't, and it seems unlikely it could be as high as 4. I could not detect any interior baffling which might enhance the pads thermal performance. The description does say it has "I beam" technology, but without any actual testing I don't see this adding much to the R-value. For safety, it's always best for someone camping in cold weather, with a pad not tested via ASTM, to assume the R-value is far less than claimed.

This worked really well and was very comfortable for me. I didn't even feel the ground beneath me, or feel any pressure on my hips or shoulders. Getting the sleeping mattress set up was easy and took less than 10 minutes. When you're done, putting the air mattress is as easy as folding it and putting in the carrying case that they company provides you with. I love things that can be easily stored! This would also work great for sleep overs as well.
