KingCamp SEVAN 250 Sleeping Bag-Envelope With Hood

I love the size of this bag, the feel of the insulation, the quality of the bag cloth and I love the fact I can actually get it back in the cinch bag they give you with it! It seems like most of these bags feel like you will need a vacuum to get them back in the cinch bag so this was a pleasant surprise and not to mention that it folds up very compact.

For such a big sleeping bag it sure does roll up small. I'm 5'1", 240# and when I first unrolled this I thought no way will I fit in this bag. I did fit, but with very little room to spare, I would call it comfortably snug, I was still able to move my arms around fine. I definitely had a ton of extra length at the feet. Had my kid get in it. He stayed in about 10 minutes (in my 68 degree house) and he was sweating. Fits back in it's bag just fine. I got it back in there on the first try. Only downside I see is that zipper is not the best, the unzip was smooth but it kept getting snagged when zipping up. With it's small storage size, I will likely be keeping this in my "you never know what could happen" box in my truck.

This is one very warm and snuggly sleeping bag! VERY easy to fold up, roll up, and GO! Minor spills wipe right off as well! Also, got caught in a little misty rain and I snuggled way down in sack and stayed dry.... and warm! Very well made, but only complaint is that the zipper grabs up the fabric so easy and gets caught up creating a snag. Little frustrating, but NOT a deal breaker by any means!

The KingCamp Camping Sleeping Bag is a great product with a fair price...close to a super price for what you get. It lives up to it's advertising and I am very happy with it.It feels comfortable when you are inside the bag...inviting.The main side zippers consist of two zippers that slide independently of each other. I do get them caught in the bag's material lining the zips...but that is something that most bags have...you just have to be aware of it and take caution to keep the material away when zipping.There is a separate zipper at the bottom that can allow outside air in or to dump some of the warmth inside of the bag out. A very special feature of this bottom zipper is that you can stand up with the bag on you...and you can walk around with it on your body for warmth with your feet exposed for mobility.There is an adjustable drawstring at the top to enclose your head...works really well to keep the drafts out.The stuff sack has four outside compression straps for extra smallness...they also work as carrying handles. It becomes very compressed an an easy to handle package..So, this is not a very cold winter bag...this is the bag I will use for general purpose camping or lounging on the patio.Great deal and very good product.

This is a pretty decent sleeping bag. It feels well made and is pretty soft and comfortable.I really like how easy it is to fold open to use as a blanket if you prefer. This sleeping bag feels like it will hold up well under normal wear and tear conditions for a while. The zippers are smooth and flawless which is always a great feature. This is going to get alot of use this summer I think. The price is reasonable and on par with similar products out there. I would definitely recommend giving this sleeping bag a try if you're looking for a decent warmer weather sleeping bag. I don't think I'd want to be caught in weather much cooler than 50 degrees in this thing though. I also don't think I'd want to take this on any lengthy back packing trip or hike because i think the bag is a little on the heavy side and seems a little bulky when rolled up for transport. Happy with this order.

This is a really nice, fair-weather sleeping bag! I love the foot zipper in case my feet get too warm in it - just unzip that and cool off a bit without having to undo the whole thing. The drawstring around the face is nice too. Would I test it in 26* temps? No, but I'm also a big baby when it comes to the cold. For temps 40-45*+ I'd say it's perfect! It's a little more narrow than other bags we have so if you're a on the larger side, this might be a little snug for you. The fabric is nice and it seems like it's made pretty well and should hold up for quite a while!

This is a really nice quality sleeping bag with some great design elements that I really like. First of all it's a pretty large sleeping bag, I'm 6'2" and pretty wide and I have enough room in this bag that I don't feel constrained. The bag when unzipped and folded open will completely cover the top of my queen sized mattress. I don't know how often I would actually use it but the separate bottom zipper feature is an interesting idea and I can imagine times when that could come in handy. The zippers all work great and I like the Velcro cover to keep the main zipper in place once you get it all the way to the top. This is kind of trivial but I love the look of this bag. I got it in the dark blue and I think it looks Awesome paired with the plaid interior of the bag. The drawstring hood is Fantastic for cold weather. It's one of those things where you wonder why they haven't always been made like this. The only complaint I have is not a big one but I wish there was some way to keep the bag rolled up tight while you try to slip it into the carry pouch. My old bags didn't come with a carrying pouch, they just have two elastic straps to keep them in shape once they are rolled up. I think that might be a nice addition to this bag. I will say once you get it into the pouch it's a pretty small footprint for the size of the sleeping bag and it's really easy to strap the pouch to the outside of your pack for fair weather transport. I think this is an Awesome sleeping bag. It looks great, it's big, it's comfortable, it has a carrying pouch, and it has a hood. I highly recommend it!

This lightweight sleeping bag has some very thoughtful details. First off, it's what we used to call a 'mummy bag'. You basically wear it for sleeping, not sleep IN it, if that makes sense. When you turn over, the whole bag turns with you - you don't turn yourself inside the bag - when you understand this the width of the bag makes more sense. The 'hood has a cinch closure to envelop your face in the event it's very cold out (but why you would use this bag in that situation I don't know). Along the zipper on the inside is a placket which keeps cold air from entering the bag through the zipper teeth when it is zipped up - the full length of the zipper. The little velcro tab at that covers the zipper-pull at the top has an extra tiny velcro strip sewn on so that in the event you do not wish to use it to cover the pull, you can 'close' the tab and the little velcro strip does not stick out to scratch you or catch on anything.They tell you right up front that this bag is rated comfortable for women DOWN TO 54F and 44F for men. Calling it 3-season is wholly dependent upon where you use it but never mind lol.The outside of the bag is just as described - a soft polyester that they are calling waterproof, however I'm pretty sure they mean water resistant. The interior is a printed plaid. The zippers have nice sturdy tabs to make grasping them easier.It comes all rolled up in a stuff-sack, outfitted with lots of extra straps and buckles to presumably make cinching it tight a breeze. A little poofy for actual backpacking and not terribly warm, it will still certainly get the job done regardless.Highly recommended for light duty. Great bag.

I do not camp when it is super cold, so I can not test this sleeping bag in extreme temperatures, but I do feel like this will work very nicely for the slightly chillier late spring camping trips that I take. I have never owned a sleeping bag with the hood option before, so that is a feature that I really like since I do tend to put my head into my sleeping bags on colder nights. This should prevent the need for me to do that. It is very long and surprisingly does roll back up and fits into the bag pretty easily. It isn't a super heavy or bulky sleeping bag, so if you are like me and camp with a large family, being able to pack as lightly as possible is very important. The zipper feels sturdy and glides nicely. I like it a lot!

The bag is well-made and lightweight. It fits easily back into the stuff sack, which is not always the case with other bags. I wouldn't recommend using this bag much below 32 degrees without a liner. However, I have no problem taking it anywhere above that temperature. It also works great when unzipped and used as a comforter.

This seems well made and designed, the bag it comes in is great, too. I tend to run cold so this didn't warm me up a significant amount when I tested it out. I think it's good for a general light sleeping bag but it's not thick and I don't think it has any special lining or anything. I found the lining to be a little odd actually: when I got inside with socks on I had trouble sliding my feet down--it's a fake flannel but not smooth (hard to explain, sorry). Real flannel would have made this a lot nicer! I'd say it's suitable for use in mild weather, should be fine for camping in spring/summer (depending on your locale).

Pretty good bag, good for warm seasons , light weight not taking a lot of space.

I like that this is a good quality, lightweight, compact bag. We are fair-weather campers, so this is perfect for that. I got it for my kids, and it fits them perfectly. We don't do any extreme camping, so it's perfect to throw in a tent or in the back of the car.

I got this to use for light camping in cool to warm weather. I already have a mummy bag for colder temperatures, but I found the narrow end to be uncomfortable for my feet. This sleeping bag should work great for warmer weather, and I'd even be willing to try it in colder weather with the right clothes on. The interior and exterior is a comfortable nylon-type material. It's soft, but it seems to be moisture resistant. It also packs down nice and small in the provided compression bag. The compression straps allowed me to get it smaller than my other mummy bag, and it fits easily in my trail pack. Assuming this holds up over the long run, this is a five-star item.

I'm 5'11", 160 lbs. and I felt like the sleeping bag was too skinny for me. If you're overweight I'd guess there's no chance you could be comfortable in this thing. Also, once you take it out of the bag you're never getting it back in unless you're a professional packer, which I am not.That being said, it was very comfortable and warm inside. I like the hood at the top for extra head cushioning or wind protection.

This is a great sleeping bag for average campers. Don't use this for serious "winter" camping, but it's perfect for average cool/mildly cold camping through the fall or early spring. It comes in a very convenient and securely buckled carrying bag that rolls up REALLY small, considering it's big enough for average adults. And it seems very comfortable as well. I'm not one to want to test how waterproof it actually is, but it says it's waterproof, which helps even if you're just worried about water draining under you or if it's raining while you're hiking or setting up camp. Over all, I think this is a really good bag at a good price. Very happy so far.

So this is very warm, and I can see how it would hold up to the temperatures it's claiming. Provided you're wearing temperature friendly clothes. You could lay on the forest ground on this and the padding would be enough. It's more compact & light weight than a normal sleeping bag, that being said I don't know if this would be my choice for backpacking. Maybe for an overnight backpacking trip. It's about 3lbs, but when you think about backpacking/hunting and having all your food, water, other accessories as needed you're packs can easily get to 20lbs or more, the additional 3lbs can feel like a lot when you're clocking a lot of hours and miles with your backpack on. Also the size of it, for backpacking it'd be too bulky (unless it's a quick overnight trip). This would make a great sleeping bag for regular camping or sleepover though. Zippers glide smoothly, material is soft, and I can't attest to how waterproof it is, although it seems like it'd be fine. I took pictures and used a permanent marker for size reference. Overall it's a great option and a good price point.

Packs down super small in the compression stuff sack. I heard a stitch pop compressing the sack though so I probably won't be using the compression feature. Good for only relatively nice weather and long enough for me at 6'1" tall.

I have several compact/lightweight sleeping bags, but they have a very thin/fragile outer fabric. This one has a surprisingly tough outer fabric which is exactly what I wanted since this is going to be a kid sleeping bag and also an emergency sleeping bag to keep in the car. In both cases it will be subjected to less-than-gentle situations. The compact size is perfect for keeping in the car and it also makes it easier for kids to pack/carry when going camping. It's not a zero degree bag so it's more for fair weather camping or emergency use, but it does great for that.

Having a house full of grandkids around sometimes, sleepovers are a thing. Setting up a pillow and blanket fort and showing them a "camping" experience is a blast. It's a lot better than the "camping trips" I went on with Uncle Sam, because there's TV, snacks, and bathrooms, and granddaughters giggling nearby.All seams and zippers are perfect, and I am sure that this bag would also suffice as a moderate/mild weather bag when actually camping. A cool design feature is the separate lower zipper to help regulate bag temperature. This would definitely be useful if the weather is a bit warmer.I can't attest to waterproofing yet, that will require more extensive outdoor field-testing at a later time.The compression sack it comes with does the job nicely, rendering a very small and lightweight pack option for your next adventure.
