Wow what a stove works great heats well built to last easy setup and take down everything thing fits in the stove to store easy great price heat cook carry case easy to clean
Full disclosure: i have not taken it hot tent camping yet. I did the first burn of the factory oils outside in the open first. So far i am very contect with the stove. The gaps on some areas of the door and top cover looked a little iffy. And a little smoke did escape when lighting the wood. But was easily controllable with the adjustment of dampers, the intake and exhaust. I did notice just a little smoke escape from the right side window when the wood got very smokey. The stainless steal itself proved to be very strong. Not one warp showed up with two logs burning hard. Very resiliant product in my opinion. This is my second wood stove. So far ive seen small flaws on both, but its how you want to look at things. I fix things that need a little work to make them better. This stove may not really need nothing other than the resealing of the right side window. Im very happy with this stove. FINALLY TOOK MY STOVE OUT CAMPING IN THE MOUNTAINS. I DID NOT MESS WITH ANYTHING ON IT. IT WORKED GREAT THE WAY IT CAME OUT OF THE BOX. HEATED UP MY 3M YURT TENT. DID NOT HAVE ANY ISSUE MANAGING THE RATE OF THE WOOD BURNING. THE HEAT OF THE FLUE SEEMED TO DRAW THE EXHAUST VERY EFFICIENTLY. I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW EFFICIENTLY IT PERFORMED. THE STOVE IS AMAZING. IT MET MY EXPENCTATIONS . I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
It's adorable hahaAside from that, it's really easy to assemble and goes together quickly. You really don't even need instructions. It's sturdy and compact which will make taking it on a trip a breeze. I can't wait to use it in my tent! Will definitely update once I've used it.
I got this stove to use in my 20 foot (huge) yurt. I compared sizes and prices. I was concerned with getting the whole yurt warm. This works great. I was warm and snuggly all night. It is easy to assemble. It is easy clean. Easy to light. Easy to load. Easy to cook on. The first one came with a dented drawer. Amazon replaced it within days with no hassle. I highly recommend this stove. It will discolor but that is normal do to the heat.
Works great
Used it twice this winter, and couldn’t be happier. Averaged about 3 hours of burn time for two 14” logs, and it kept the tent a comfortable 72°. This mid-priced stove will do the same thing, and has the same quality, as one of the expensive stoves. Only thing I think I’d change, is making it a few inches taller to hold more wood.
This King camp stove really did a great job. I spent 7 days on the mountain for Elk camp and was very happy to be warm and comfortable. I cooked some delicious food on it too. ?
Got burned and all smoked. No good. I will return it!!! Leaks smoke too!(UPDATED REVIEW, ON 11/06/2023)I am updating my review, from 1 star to 5 stars. Because I think it's very worth it. Please read it completely. It will be very useful for you to do so.First, I want to thank the representative Elena from KingCamp for contacting me after my first review. Thank you for being so kind and professional. She offered to refund me half of my money, for the purchase of the chimney, for the inconvenience and dissatisfaction.I also want to clarify that, yes, it is true, the stainless steel of the chimney burned on the outside and smoked even the pipes. But, this weekend, I used it once again, and the aesthetics do not compare with its efficiency. This chimney heats a 16'x16' tent well and does combat the cold. And now, based on my experience, I recommend the following: Do not put firewood too close to the chimney door, so that the smoke does not escape. And also make sure that the top lid is closed correctly, and that the pipe lever is in "On". This way the air flows upwards and you avoid "choking" on the smoke. DO NOT touch the pipes after lighting the chimney. Because once they are hot, they become red hot.And well, I just hope that its durability is very satisfactory too. Thank you, that's all I wanted to clarify, because it seems very fair to me.I recommend buying it and I would too, if I would buy it again. Because I think, it would be very good to have one ready to use, as a reserve. Thanks KingCamp.
I recently got a hot tent and ordered this little stove to use with it. Where I live we are still under strict fire restrictions so I have to wait probably another month or so to actually take this out and test it well. In the meantime, I'm pretty excited about this little stove and wanted to add some pics and comments about it. I'll try to return and update this after testing it out a few times this fall. When I opened the box I was immediately impressed with how sturdy and solid the stove feels. It seems to be manufactured very well and I didn't encounter any sharp edges or misaligned parts at all. Assembly was easy with the one-page instruction set and the stovepipe fit together tightly, though not so much that I can't easily disassemble it.I really like the glass windows in the side. Many of these stoves I've looked at don't have windows so it's not so easy to tell when to add more wood. This stove makes it easy to monitor your fire and adds the pleasant ambiance of seeing the flames inside the stove.I'm very pleased with this little stove so far and can't wait to test it out once the fire bans lift!
