I wanted to wait awhile so it's been over 4 months since I purchased. I am 310 lbs and 6' and the bike is excellent fit while riding. There is some learning curves but I think it is much safer to ride than a regular bike. I have ran over walnuts and sticks no problem it was like they weren't there. Ridden it through Parks on flat area mainly but the suspension absorbs the bumps. The seat is very comfortable. I am almost 60 and with my weight I am not super flexible so I added a OneUp dropper seat for easier getting on and off and stops And because I really want my seat up high for the exercise (very big help). The only reason it is not a 5 star is because it is listed as a step through and because of the angle of the center it is not as easy to lift your leg through without your foot catching. I have not gotten the battery below 70 percent riding for a couple of hours on fairly level areas with a couple of good hills. I think if your a bigger person not so young this is a great bike. I think if your thinking your going to transport this big bike around on a car carrier it might be a little difficult it is heavy and long. It is impressive looking. The Lights are sufficient. I go over board and added a LED for the front and back for safety. I would make sure you wear a helmet you may find yourself riding at 25-30 mph if your in a hurry.Last but not least I am not qualified to say this is not a mountain bike for trail riding so don't look at the rating for that use. I used my bike stand to set it up it is pretty solid bike stand but it could not really handle the weight so you probably need 2 people to set it up. It is shipped with the forks do backwards with no warnings labels or indications as another reviewer listed, it is probably necessary to fit for shipping but it is not really clear in the directions or setup videos on youtube.com I watched a number of them but did not find any from the manufacturer. The quality of manufacturing is almost 5 stars also a few tiny paint flaws you can only see in the setup process. All in all it is a lot of bike. Not cheap but no cheaply made and a good value. Solid Kick Stand. I wish there was more options for security from Magicycle like a reasonable GPS deal with alarm and secure lock package. A factory installed quality dropper seat some people would find attractive. Good Luck and Enjoy riding.

I have some opportunities in my fitness program. This bike gave me the confidence to go out on more rides with the kids. I don't have to worry about running out of steam, hills, or overdoing it. Great ride, lots of power, and a real head turner.

I'm enjoying this bike quite a bit, but it was misnamed. A "Deer" is agile and quick. At 92 lbs., this is not a real mountain bike, but I knew that going in. Great for dirt roads, but too lumbering and cumbersome for single track. They should have named it "Moose."Let's face it, most of the 20" e-bikes are really just a motorcycle with pedals that will never be used because, with a lack of adjustable seat, your legs are bent too much for real pedaling. So you're more likely to be yelled at for riding on the bike path. This 26" bike is high enough that you can pedal for real for legitimate exercise, and no one will doubt that it's a real bike.Only two complaints: 1 - Power delivery is unpredictable and illogical much of the time. And yes, I know how to customize the power levels. 2 - While the battery is massive and I will never be able to drain it with one ride, the screen battery level indicator is even less logical than the power delivery. It's all over the place. It may read 30% after a ride, then the next day claim to be 70%. It can't be trusted.Otherwise a really fine Moose of a bike.

I bought The Magicycle Deer because it has rear and front suspension and I paid top dollar for it. There is not a motorcycle made that doesn't have rear suspension, and for good reason, I so I don't know why people still buy electric bikes without it, my ride to work and back is 14 miles up two large hills, each over a mile long. This bike does well on all but the steepest hill (6% grade) it still makes it but you need to pedal too. I'm 6' and 235lbs, with my lunch and change of clothes the bike is probably hauling 245lbs. At 14 miles its at 50% but that is 14 miles of level 7 (the highest boost) averaging 21Km/hr/12-20mph. The suspension of the Magicycle deer is the best of any bike I have owned and is as good as my street motorcycle (BMW LT1200). The only reason I didn't give it five stars is I wanted a 1500watt motor or the option to put a front hub motor on it. Dont get me wrong its a fantastic bike, and for over $2600 dollars it should be. Next I'm adding a wider rear basket to keep my lunch from falling off it, a front basket and then I'm adding turn signals and side mirrors, and a brighter head light and some blinking red lights in the rear, I'm also adding a goose neck extender to raise the handle bars a little more. Its basically a motorcycle with pedals, I'm getting a softer seat too. This is an awesome bike to ride to work, and I do everyday, going threw bumpy alleys, off curbs, hitting pot holes on the street, and crossing railroad tracks, I need to do all of it, and this bikes suspension does an an excellent job of cushioning those jolts, it makes riding to work fun and its fast, I cut 10 minutes off my time getting to work compared to my old electric bike, so I do highly recommend it for commuters, I think it would be underpowered for serious off roading though.The only problem so far, front and rear lights dont work.yeah the front and back light dont work and its really pissing me off for such an expensive bike....i'm still trying to contact the company to fix it.

The fork came assembled backwards which caused some initial confusion but after some wrench turns was easily corrected as they included a tool for every nut and bolt on the bike.... I'm like 6' 270lbs and the thing hits it's governor very quickly on flat ground via throttle. Will report back as this will be my daily driver to work
